    Floor lighting to ambient lighting?

@Trav--- I have not had a chance to look thru my toolbox but those pins look correct... the ground is already in both 410/420 plugs, you'll just have to tie into that wire... as far for the 370A, I did not use that for my signal.... connector C6 on the BCM has the wire that I used for the...

    Floor lighting to ambient lighting?

@ DJ--- I already have the led assemblies and most wiring for each door... I am adding passive entry at the same time so I only want to open the doors once... Covid has delayed some of my parts. There is one part which is not available from factory, the acrylic tube for bottom map holder.... I...

    Floor lighting to ambient lighting?

--- in your pic, if you notice the large yellow plug... the new light assembly will be wired to that... I can give you the pin outs to each side once you get the parts.. You will only need to re-pin two cavities but three will be used... the common ground will be re-used... -=FM45=-

    Floor lighting to ambient lighting?

Here is a pic from the rear side of mine, .... (ending in) 1AC ---- I am sure the part you posted just superseeded mine, so essentially they are the same and should work as described.. you do have to make the change in the BCM so that the truck recognizes the new device. Alpha can do everything...

    Floor lighting to ambient lighting?

@ DJ --- nice job on the lighting... looks bright... I know you added some interior lighting but can't tell from post or pics if you have the factory ambient lighting. The factory ambient are under the front driver and pass front foot well, under drivers and pass seat.... there are also two...

Add toggle buttons where tow haul and traction control are?

The panel switches look and feel like switches and knobs but they are sending data to BCM, that's were all the magic is done. One wire can send multiple commands from multiple switches/devices... You can't add wires and relays from these 'switches' ... -=FM45=-

    Floor lighting to ambient lighting?

If you are referencing the plug behind the head light switch and dimmer, I believe all wires are present-- you leave as is.... Look at the BCM and locate C6 and see if the wire is present... If it is, I think if you change the switch to one that has a dimmer/ambient knobs and make the proper...

    Floor lighting to ambient lighting?

My plug is exactly like the pic you posted... the wht/gn wire is the ambient wire but you don't pick it up at the switch itself; our trucks use mux/data/resistance to send multiple info down one wire -- network like. You need to find the body control module, drivers side kick upper towards...

    Floor lighting to ambient lighting?

@T32--- I am on duty for the next 24 so I little patience, I am digging up what I can from memory... the ambient dimmer was already present in my vehicle and I picked up the dimmer wire from the factory plug if the ambient lights were present from factory. As far as the pins, I just re-pined...

    Floor lighting to ambient lighting?

Sorry for delay... some basic wiring knowledge is required for this mod. The old light assembly and connector must be removed and replaced with the new assembly and connector. Use the reference url posted for connector pin-outs, look at lamp footwell lighting basic/premium --- the basic is a 2...

    Floor lighting to ambient lighting?

I went the OEM way... you do have to remove the old light assembly and connector; install the new factory assembly, new connector, and an extra wire for the ambient side of the light... i added one under each side of the dash and one under each side of the front seats in the factory locations...

    Added Auto HVAC

For those of you who wanted or were thinking of adding auto HVAC to your ride it is possible. I followed the posted video and just adapted it for the 8.4 radio. I needed to install the two sensors and change my radio shroud to have the Auto HVAC buttons. The final step was to add the function to...
