Holy he!!...My lights came in the mail today, so I ran home at lunch. I had to give up. The can barely reach the tape behind the cluster on for the left side light. I can feel the plug, but I can't unwind the tape or find the end for that matter. I don't want to go in with a utility knife...
FWIW, I'm shopping for a set of TRX takeoffs. Those are 18" wheels. I plan to run those but I will need to add wheel spacers. I'll save the offset discussion for another thread.
Not a dumb question. You will need a spacer either way. The Bilstein's themselves are just made to work within in a specified lift range. I believe 1-3"s over stock. You can certainly use your stock shocks for the time being and go from there. I went with the RC's figuring they should be...
Correct, that's all you need is a block out back. I'd just use shocks like Bilsteins ( I did Rough County's) that work with 1-3" of lift. It should ride better than a stretched out stock shock.
With a Rebel you would bet 2.5" up front from what you have. Since you have 1" factory in the rear I'd opt for a motofab 1.5" rear block and you'd be sitting perfect imo. You would need front control arms and rear shocks.
The struts will settle up front a bit once you get some miles on it. I do feel like a 2.5 or 3" rear would be perfect, but I'd want to do it right and either get an adjustable track bar/panhard bar.
I'm guessing he did the lift like I did. He bought the RC loaded struts by themselves. Then ordered a proper 2" spacer. The RC rear spacer is only an inch makes the back end look saggy. Definitely had some proper upper a-arms for better angles of the ball joint.
70lbs...I could always leave a kid at home. Or when going with my friends choose to not let my oversized friend come and only take my buddy who's a twig.
33gallon tank was a cheap upgrade an no brainer here. But we have options and that's the great things about these trucks. Build em how you...
It's all mental for me. I was looking for and then specifically ordered a 33 gallon tank. I rarely let it go below halfway. It's convenient for the 2-3 roadtrips we do each year. But as others stated, I couldn't drive a tank from Full to Empty without stopping to empty my bladder. If I had a...
For me, I preferred the Laramie Night Edition over the Rebel. Although I do like the Rebel. In the end I really wanted cooled seats and that automatically eliminated the Rebel for me.
