So im prepared. I currently don’t have any vehicle and am borrowing one from a family member so I would like to know, if I’m not getting the truck by August/early september I can wait it out but if its after that I may need to go elsewhere.
I completely agree. Make it late availability give us money off and call it a day. I’m sure I’ll use the feature here or there for the fun of it because I have it but once the trial is up I’m not paying for it.
He has in his signature the rebel level 2 group which does have the 14.4 inch screen. Unfortunately it still doesn’t look like theyre making anything with the self driving or self parking features.
That was my f
That was my fear when I ordered mine and didn’t spec it with a brake controller because I currently don’t have a trailer but plan to in the future. Here’s to hoping by that time they’ll have it figured out.
The hemi shouldn’t have been dropped completely. People are so salty because it was dropped completely and they have a right to be. A better solution would have been making the hems an optional engine upgrade where the hurricane was still standard for a few years and then used that data to...
Correct I meant on par, was half thinking of the HO. The 5.0 is very impressive I just can’t picture myself driving a ford. But who knows if ram keeps ****ing around and not building my limited I may look into it if it’s a good enough deal. I wouldn’t pay the same money for a ram and a ford in...
I’m a little surprised how much worse it was but overall it’s not too surprising. The engine is more powerful than the 6.2l plus at higher elevation it’s not losing nearly as much power but it’s gonna be in max boost longer which would mean it’s guzzling fuel.
Correct, I inquired about a status update on my limited build, should have clarified that. Theoretically I have nothing but time to wait for the truck but if they’re not going to get it to me before the end of August that’s plenty of time for me to look into other options.
The people on this forum are a small minority compared to everyone else truck shopping. Price and interest are a huge factor for most people. I only have the numbers which ram advertises on their website, 17k 2025‘s on dealer lots, 11k in transit and another 11k being built. My theory is they’re...
I just got off the phone with ram cares, essentially they told me there’s no update but call back in 2-3 weeks if there still is no update online and they will be able to escalate it further.
What’s going on is the soon to be 30k of them on dealer lots aren’t selling and they have 2022 model years still on lots. So if they’re being parked it’s because they have no dealers to buy them. It’s not a problem with the trucks themselves it’s a problem with the truck market in general even...
True, but the wagoneer and grand wagoneer are heavier than the ram 1500 and built on the same chassis. It’s not putting a mid sized suv engine in a truck it’s putting a truck engine in another truck. That’s not saying the hurricane is tried and true tested but it could be much worse.
Hopefully it’s a delay with their database. But more than likely they may be vehicles going to top execs or their friends or media test vehicles.
Edit: on the plus side if they are vehicles that are promised to execs and people in the know then that means us peasants should be getting ours soon 🤣
I still think it’s a problem getting the parts for the full self driving. I know I said earlier that there are vehicles being made with the advanced safety group but I misspoke they are not. I would rather them make that a late availability feature and give us money off or something.
