I believe that it will be pushed back but I’m really hoping it won’t because I could really use it for a vacation I’m going on at the end of the month. But regardless if it gets pushed back it’s for the best.

Form the couple I’ve see it’s about 30ish days from schedule to build and then a few days to actually build the truck. So it might be accurate

Just got an update from my dealer, my build is in final inspection and set to be shipped on Monday 8/5. Will get a more solid delivery estimate when my vehicle ships.

My limited went into production on 7/25

That’s a hell of a dealership you got there. My last truck (GMC) had a blown head gasket at 196 miles and the dealership told me to go pound sand.

I’m not really sure what else it would be besides a rigorous quality test because if they’re sitting on them in case there are issues they will never be able to tell they’re issues unless they get them in the hands of consumers.

So my limited went D1 June 24 and went into production July 25… but it’s says estimated delivery date October 2nd which seems like awhile to me.

I want this new truck to come so bad but I’m also concerned with all these CEL issues, I definitely think they’re more than likely electrical based or software based due to it being in both the SO i6 and the V6. But my last truck I bought last October was a lemon I would **** a brick if this one...

I feel like motivation to do that would come from having a “defective” truck yourself because if not you have no skin in the game.

Similar to what I was told 3 days ago. They did email me with another cookie cutter response saying it was being escalated blah blah blah… and that it is best to check in for status updates with my dealership.

Surprisingly not… my dealer claims they can’t see any information other than it’s in D status not even D1 although it’s been scheduled for assembly.

I did the same today, apparently my truck is delayed for an unknown reason.

Unless they changed it I have a limited ordered with the rear locker and no off road group.

I mean it’s bound to happen on some trucks. Also everyone freaking out that you have to take the cab off the truck… it’s an inline 6 engine it doesn’t fit in the engine bay alone. Any major work in any inline 6 engine today will most likely require the cab to be removed. Hopefully ram does right...
