It’s my understanding that the 2kw system isn’t being built. Also back in December the level A equipment group was called the level 1 group. Anthony from mark dodge previously told us that trucks with level 1 as opposed to level A won’t be built. So unless your dealer changed it from level 1 to...
I believe that it will be pushed back but I’m really hoping it won’t because I could really use it for a vacation I’m going on at the end of the month. But regardless if it gets pushed back it’s for the best.
Just got an update from my dealer, my build is in final inspection and set to be shipped on Monday 8/5. Will get a more solid delivery estimate when my vehicle ships.
I’m not really sure what else it would be besides a rigorous quality test because if they’re sitting on them in case there are issues they will never be able to tell they’re issues unless they get them in the hands of consumers.
I emailed my dealer earlier this morning, they’re usually super quick to respond, haven’t heard back yet though. I got a delivery date of October 2 on the ram build tracker and the truck went into production on the 25th. I feel like that’s an extended wait period for a truck that should take...
I want this new truck to come so bad but I’m also concerned with all these CEL issues, I definitely think they’re more than likely electrical based or software based due to it being in both the SO i6 and the V6. But my last truck I bought last October was a lemon I would **** a brick if this one...
Similar to what I was told 3 days ago. They did email me with another cookie cutter response saying it was being escalated blah blah blah… and that it is best to check in for status updates with my dealership.
I mean it’s bound to happen on some trucks. Also everyone freaking out that you have to take the cab off the truck… it’s an inline 6 engine it doesn’t fit in the engine bay alone. Any major work in any inline 6 engine today will most likely require the cab to be removed. Hopefully ram does right...
Not an email with estimated ship date but an email saying it’s in D1.. also according to my dealer it’s not in D1. Just very odd. Because rams website clearly states it is in D1
