I have a 2025 Ram 1500 on order (vehicle built but ship date not updated yet) and plan to get ESP (MaximumCare) so does the Eligibility mean I wouldn't be able to get the maintenance care plan?

My Laramie (Level 2, Advanced Safety Group II etc. VIN 580654) just refreshed as "Vehicle Built" status as of 8/14. Delivery ETA was October 20, but now blank. Hopefully that means the higher optioned Laramie builds are starting to flow through. No idea how long it will take to get shipped or...

I thought there were legal issues with some suppliers for the technology centric components that held up things, which may explain why the higher-trim trucks and options (Laramie Level 2 and Advanced Safety Group II for example)

Captain Obvious here for an important reminder.....automative manufacturing is likely an incredibly complex process. While I share in the concern and frustration waiting for an expensive truck, and appreciate all the insights, comments, etc. - we are only seeing a sliver of the end to end...

Sounds spot on to me, and the best outcome for customers. If it was me, that's what I'd do.

Update: Just spoke with the dealer. Ship date moved from 8/13 to 8/16. He said the main reason for the delay is related to the quality control issues that made the news, but they don't have any more detail. Has anyone seen actual build progress? Seems like "scheduled for production" for many and feels like a holding pattern (also the Nationwide search also doesn't seem to be changing at least for my Laramie build). Hopefully, production ramps up and we see trucks moving soon.
