10 mpg is all your going to get with a 3/4 ton. Most guys are averaging 15 mpg with our 1/2 tons. I got etorque & drive like an old man and average 18. My Chevy 2500 averaged 10. It is what it is. Most guys who buy 3/4 tons accept that fact & it doesn't matter because the truck has the...
I got the short bed & I am in construction. I can fit all my tools in there no problem. Compressor, table saw, battery tools, air tools, tool belt, drill bag, remodel bag , even a tote full of extra clothes. I could fit a miter box in there too if need be. Any long planks or ladders & I just...
Just copy your CD's to your computer, if u have a computer with a disc drive, then put them on a USB drive. Took me 3 days to copy all my CD's to computer, but only seconds to put them on the USB. Or subscribe to something like Spotify & stream whatever u want, whenever u want. So far the only...
Exactly, & if u see a line of 10 cars behind u at least do the descent thing & pull over & let them all pass. I've done that before. I hate it when people ride my ***. I like to have a few car lengths between me & the car in front of me just in case. I love the people who are completely...
I go 7 mph over. That's what my State Farm beacon will allow without a negative mark. People usually fly by me like I'm standing still at least 15 to 20 mph over the speed limit !! If u drive 55 mph on a 55 mph road here in Minnesota around the cities, u are likely to get ran off the road ...
Please don't be one of those people who go the exact speed limit on a 2 lane road while a dozen cars are following behind them waiting for any chance to pass. Those people suck ! Buy a damn Prius if your that worried about gas mileage for crying out load. It's a 5,500 lb truck what the heck did...
I do always use a credit card if I buy online. Still prefer to walk in a store & look at or try something on before purchasing though. Don't like Pay Pal, Venmo, or Zelle. Once u send it your never getting it back. What's wrong with mailing someone a check ? Otherwise meet in person & use cash.
Gosh these diesels sound about as crappy as the last generation. Any mpg savings is negated by all the extra cost of maintaining these things plus the extra cost of the diesel compared to unleaded. Plus they cost way more up front. I'll stick with the tried & true Hemi. Fyi here in America...
This is why I would never buy anything from anyone unless it was meeting in person & exchanging cash. I've used Craigslist & Facebook Marketplace in the past, but always meet in a public place. I don't even trust Venmo or Zelle. They wanted my bank account info & last 4 of my S.S. # I said no...
It's funny how everyone can have 180 degree difference on stuff. I would have loved to have the ram boxes, but not many BH with them. Also I've heard the 3.92 are way harder on the engine than the 3.21 because the engine is revving way higher the whole time, this making it work harder.
Agree 💯 I kind of wish I had the 3.21 gears. I get exactly what this guy stated. 18.5 - 19 mph highway & 15- 16 city. When I tow anything (even a 2,000 lb fishing boat) I get 10 mpg. I basically got the 3.92 gears to take off fast off the line & leave the chevy's in the dust !! Plus I previously...
I just got the cheapest stock stereo they put in the Big Horn & that thing is plenty loud. I barely ever turn it past 10. I must be getting old. 😀 Sounds plenty good to me.
I had 98,000 miles on my 2009 Chevy 2500 & never replaced the brake pads. Had 73,000 miles on my 2013 Ram 1500 & never replaced them. I know it's because I'm a good driver & I anticipate the upcoming red light & coast up to it. I just laugh at these idiots bobbing & weaving, driving like maniacs...
I found a dealer giving about $5,000 to $6,000 off MSRP on Laramies but nothing off BH. So u can actually get a Laramie for about $2,000 more than a BH right now in Forest Lake, MN.
