When i checked today, my Assist and SOS buttons are working properly now, so the batt cable pull for an hour appears to have fixed that issue.
Will check the remote commands later after truck sits for awhile.

@grinch72 Did it reset your settings or just a good hard reboot?
i did it, and first power up many options missing, theme was red rather than the Limited Blue i normally use and such.
Shut off truck and restarted and all my settings came back.
is that how your's acted?

You and me both @Laramiepete that is the exact situation I am sitting in too, it was weird the first time I cleared data, the remote commands worked for 3 or 4 days without issue, but the head unit says not activated, but now it has reverted to only a few minutes after shutting off the truck...
This is the problem I have now too, they requested I do a "Clear personal data" to attempt to fix other things, and now my head unit thinks "Connected services are not active" ever since then.

Dont get your hopes up, I got a second email on Sat, same stuff formatted different saying to do it again, around that same time mine stopped working again.
This time just sat and spun, no failure messages.

Yes this is what I believe is happening as well.
that's why i would like everyone to try the mopar site or the app themselves within 15 minutes of shutting the truck off to see if it works for them.

Basically it works within 40 mins of shutting off truck, anything over an hour forget it, it will fail.

Figured out some extra info today, I verified all I have to do with the key fob is unlock and lock the truck, then it will accept SiriusXM Guardian requests.
Talked to support at SXMGuardian today for 40 minutes, kept on them thru all their scripted questions about what phone I am using and OS...
I just verified I have this problem.
I tried the app after being at work for 8 hours, it failed.
Tried Mopar site, it failed.
Walked over to window, used fob to start truck, let it run for a minute, then used fob to shut it off.
Walked back to desk, used app to issue "remote start" it went...
