What did you do to your Ram today???

Congrats on the new car! I know exactly how that feels — my wife and I both have Challengers too, so I definitely understand the excitement. That’s a great-looking ride, and I’m really happy for you. Enjoy it, and make a lot of good memories with it! 😎🔥View attachment 214342
Did a first road trip (after 5 hrs drive getting it) on Day 2..and Wifey-pooh likes this one better than she liked the '15 SRT392..so off to a great start! Thanks again👍
BTW..nice looking group you've got there!

Yesterday went on a poker run with a group of Jeeps, and a couple Broncos. Was a benefit for a family going through cancer treatments. circled my truck in green in the ribbon picture. And that black dot in front of my truck, in that picture, is me.

Changed the oil and did a look over on how things were looking under the hood. At 64k miles and looks like I am one of the lucky ones with oil in the coolant. Found residue on the coolant dipstick and I used medical tape attached to the coolant dipstick since it was low and couldn’t tell the level and the coolant fluid color was like a caffe latte. Made an appt with the dealer this week since I have an extended warranty.
I’ve sent my oil off to black stone labs and there has never been coolant in the oil and my oil when I changed it yesterday looked normal with no milky discoloration.
Guess now I wait and see what the diagnosis is.

Oil pressure is higher than coolant pressure which is why you don't have coolant in your oil.

Identified the exhaust leak I’ve been hearing since the arctic cold settled in this Winter

Thought I would drill and bolt this tomorrow, but it just hit me that I’ll need a gasket. For now I’ll put a c-clamp on there to keep it all together and quiet until I get a gasket.
Got a chance this morning to work on this exhaust issue. Took a while to get that broken bolt out, I had to heat that sucker up as much as I could with a little propane torch, but it came out. Then I realized the two and three-quarter inch gasket that I bought is too small since this is a 3 inch pipe. I was able to clean the old gasket off with a die grinder and reuse it, I’ll get a new one coming but for now it’s good. While I was in there I realized it was time to change the oil so I got that done, dumped about two or 3 ounces out of the catch can, oil did not look bad at all in there.

Took it for a test drive after I change the oil as I always do, this time I pulled over in a park and felt I needed to do a throttle calibration right there. When I got back out on the road the battery light came on and the indicator showed it was charging at 11.6 V. I wasn’t that far from home so I drove home and shut it off, checked it out in the driveway, everything looked good. Shut it off and started it up a couple of times, the second time the voltage was back up to 14. Took her for a drive and everything seems good, so I think at exactly 4 years it’s probably time to start looking for a battery.

If you were trying to make me jealous it worked 🤪

Added the VTT dual catch can & one way breather to my Hurricane. Plug & go, pretty clean & simple!

New TRX hat count? 😵‍💫 came home from hospital with no shoes or hat
I feel weird about buying a hat that doesn't belong with my truck but I can dream... 🤪

In case you were wondering, you may NOT borrow my truck…
It was in great shape for 7 years until I started hauling firewood every weekend
