What did you do to your Ram today???

Congrats! Always thought the Shaker 392’s were best Challengers. I wanted one with a stick and then would throw parts at it to make it turn well; would leave engine alone.

The Dodge names are just pure gold. The recent Hagerty Challenger drag race video had me reeling with Jason Cammisa pronouncing “Scat Pack Six Pack Track Pack” in midwestern.

I mean, that's why you empty them before they get full. Basically saying that you took it off because it worked, and you didn't want to deal with emptying it.
Not really because of the work, but because the yellow/white moisture condensation made me nervous (I've seen this on the underside of an oil filler cap, so it's not just because of the aluminum catch can create moisture from the cold can & hot oil vapor, but why make more)
There was only maybe a quarter inch of oil, so not doing much after 3000miles anyways.🤷‍♂️

The Widebody Challengers on 305 at all fours can absolutely stick the roundabouts!
It came with Mopar Front strut towers braces..I ordered Mopar Rear shock tower brace today.
I may swap the Front swaybar like I did on the last one.
My last SRT392 was moderately modded (LTs, Flowmaster cb, HHP Tune). This one keeping mostly stock..the exhaust is way louder than I remember OEM being on last one.

AAAHHH I just didn't like the look anymore, the only way I see to maintain geometry and have the stance that I want is a body lift, going to install this on the weekend. I will have a problem though, bumpers will have the 2 in gap, Not very concerned about front bumper, it will just hurry me up to go for an aftermarket/custom one. I wasn't planning on doing the rear so I may have to drill on the provided adapters (they are not for Rebels). It will also fix my pinch/weld rubbing issue. I have already cut and still rubs so, I guess I'm going this route. haha

I did something similar with a F350 and F250 a couple years ago. It was on the difficult side for that truck.
I am interested in your project and how it difficult it is

There is more moisture in the air during winter than condensates inside your crank case in colder temps. You don't get the same condensation of the moisture in the warmer summer months. The catch can catches this extra moisture vs it getting sucked into engine. You can't catch the fuel/oil without also catching moisture.

Going to go put it on a dyno. Any guestimates for numbers? Will be switching the Pulsar from stock, tow/haul, and Performance.

Results are in. With the 35" tires hurting hp some. These pulls were also made in 4th gear because it would hit speed limiter in 5th or 6th.

276 HP 307 tq on stock map
289 hp 313 tq on tow mode
295 HP 307 tq on performance

Truck is currently down while the engine is being rebuilt ( Misfire at high RPM +Black Spark Plugs After 3 Days of use … Here’s What I Found… ), but the project is still moving forward. I ordered the 12.1-inch screen setup today. Right now the truck still has the factory 8.4-inch screen, so this will be a nice interior upgrade. It should be back soon after the cylinder head repair, hopefully with full power and a fresh spark. After that, the plan is to install the e-locker I already ordered, swap to a 3.92 gear ratio, and replace the OEM 8.4-inch screen with the new 12.1-inch setup.

I also decided to redo the side trim — originally it was silver, but I wrapped it in a gloss black style finish to better match the interior. Took some time to get the curves right, but the result came out clean and much more suitable for my interior style.

At the same time, I applied PPF on the screen to protect it from scratches and keep it looking new over time.

I've got 10K miles on my truck I wanted to get the tires rotated today. Call discount tire and they said an hour and a half wait and 45 minutes to do it.
I ain't got nothing to do today but not spending two and a half hours at discount tire.

Finished 45 minutes later with 15 to 20 of that getting my quick jacks out then determining the best way to lift the truck..

I dropped the truck to entry exit mode to get it lower to the ground but
found out that the rubber blocks are not a good option for me. My driveway has a slight slope downward and that caused the rubber blocks to flex rearward. Also found out that I couldn't quite get the rear high enough to get the rear tires back on as easily so I had to get my floor jack and lift the rear while it was on the quickjacks.
If anyone needs a new floor jack, harbor freight has the 3 ton Long reach, low profile, rapid pump jack on sale for $169, normally $269.

I'm going to buy a fence post and cut it up into block that will fit into the quickjack and use them next time but the quickjack worked just fine on my truck other than the height issue. I don't have the truck SUV attachments which for $400, I'm not buying.

I placed the front of the quickjack just behind the frame rails where they turn down from the engine compartment. Truck was dead stable, no rocking or movement issues at all. Used the quickjack for my car, the BL-5l000SLX

well good luck hahahah
none of the body lifts that I've dealt with provide any satisfactory results but maybe it's different this time.

Got another stable mate for the Ram today..man, I hope this is the last (garages are full).

Here is comes...
2023 Last Call Dodge Challenger Shaker 392 R/T Scat Pack Widebody...wtf is Dodge thinking with these names!
10 hours of driving..twice through the Chicago Loop..F-ing torture..I was scared to death of someone hitting me.
If I recall correctly, @HemiDude will like this. Replaces the 2015 SRT392 I sold a few years back and have missed ever since.
HELL YEAH!

Congrats man! I looked at a white wb shaker before I bought mine, as wb style was on my short list. In the end I couldn’t walk away from the orange nb, it checked all the other boxes. Is yours an m6 or A8?

A8..I LOVE this trans! My '15 SRT392 convinced me that I could actually enjoy an automatic. Wifey-pooh's Miata has an M6 if I feel the need to row some gears.
The Challenger is option loaded and I couldn't pass it up.

I am currently 100% tapped on garage space! Township rules limit me to another 60x80' garage, but my wallet is tapped also.😆

Agree on the A8, best auto I've owned, helped open my eyes to owning a hot rod that didn't aggravate my clutch knee. Great looking ride, enjoy!

Thanks..I'm so happy to have a Challenger again!
BTW, have you noticed, Blueprint Engines now sells a complete muscle car retrofit LS3 & ZF A8 kit with everything needed to install P&P..$19,999..not cheap, but not bad really considering what's included.

I had not seen that, but it looks like a deal imo. Not having to source the "little" things when doing a swap/build is worth the money, especially when you know the kit's parts have already been confirmed to work with each other. Adding the ZF into the fold is a good move. I do find it interesting that they don't offer the ZF in their Mopar kits...

That is odd.
That kit has changed my thinking about a future Gen1 Camaro/Chevelle/Nova with a TKX5 or SuperT56 to now thinking an Blueprint setup Auto could be a real possibility. I love the wholeness of the package taking the guess work out of it.

Congrats on the new car! I know exactly how that feels — my wife and I both have Challengers too, so I definitely understand the excitement. That’s a great-looking ride, and I’m really happy for you. Enjoy it, and make a lot of good memories with it! 😎🔥Screenshot 2026-04-12 at 17.33.22.png
