What did you do to your Ram today???

only 17k miles and you changing all those fluid already?!
The rear differential should be changed early if you have the LSD, in my opinion. Lots of break in/wear stuff, and my change showed it too, as I mentioned earlier. The E-Lockers and open diffs can probably go a bit longer, but even they will have some wear metals in them.

The others I change and fill just for my peace of mind, plus the fact that the factory underfills them all a bit to save a few bucks. And they're easy to get to and refill on our trucks. The transmission, on the other hand, I may top off (referencing the underfill I mentioned earlier), but otherwise I leave that alone until at least 50k miles.

100% necessary? No. But I rest easier knowing my expensive contraption has better fluids.

that's your sign... to get some aftermarket wheels with right offset :ROFLMAO:

Already have them in my garage. Unfortunately they still aren’t as flush as I want them to be given the 52,000 wheel and tire sizes one could choose lol. Plus everyone’s definition of “flush” apparently is very different. Is what it is. Ended up getting the website to work. Not sure what the problem was the first go around.

i get the "truck doesn't look lifted anymore"
but i always say "look at the trophy trucks they don't look lifted at all and yet they got like 15" of travel!"

man i really need to work up the courage to cross border down south haha
True, it's been hard to accept reality. I just really liked the stance, I think looks are important too, not as important as performance of course but that we are happy with what we drive.

You should! Just first, get your Sentry so you can cross the border in no time and avoid a 2 hr delay. There is just so much to do

listing is live now

Any reason why it costs $22 to ship a single piece? Is that where Shopify gets its profit? Genuinely curious.

Be surprised how shipping has went up. Where I work, we ship parts and this small part cost $25, I was shocked.

I mean I’ve been shipping parts like crazy the last 3 months since I sold my M5 and it certainly wouldn’t cost $22 to ship this and I strictly use UPS lol. Don’t trust usps to do anything. The most corrupt l/incompetent group of individuals since Covid.

It’s ok, just assuming he doesn’t set the shipping cost and it’s done by Shopify. Again just curious.

Wife and I were driving around this past weekend and the driver’s visor seemed much more loose than I wanted it to be. I ordered one of the repair kits from Amazon and it arrived today. I thought I ordered a kit for both sides, but apparently I fell down with that one lol. Regardless, this one is secure and I don’t expect to ever see a problem with it.

I have the same one, and I also thought I was getting 2. My visor actually came completely off, snapped the wires. This thing really works to make it operational again haha.

I ordered these last week after someone else posted them. My visors are not broken, and I rarely even use them, but these fit the theme of my truck. Even if nobody else notices them, I know they are there.

Yeah I use my visor every day, so this flopping came out of left field. I wasn’t going to let it get away from me

Running a 3.6 RWD setup and moving forward with a rear-end upgrade after winter season experience . Just ordered LTG 4x4 rear electric locker kit and Motive 3.92 ring and pinion gears (9.25/9.25ZF). Current setup is 3.21 open diff which is fine for daily use but not ideal with 35” tires or in low traction. Plan is to install locker and gears together to avoid reopening the diff later. Expected gains: better acceleration and throttle response, proper gearing for 35s, no more one-wheel spin, much better traction in snow/mud/, and overall more responsive drivetrain. Will recalibrate gear ratio after install with Tazer DT. Hope everything will go smoothly.

it was using USPS Priority Flat Rate.
I've changed it to USPS Ground to pass on the savings and it returned $13 to ship to 23450 (I just googled a zip code based on the location you indicated in your forum profile)

no that actually makes sense.
i did mine at like 50k i think (last october/ november, can't remember)
front and t-casse were clean, made me feel like i wasted money. trans was pretty clean too.

come to think of it, i got a customer doing full driveline service on his braptor and his grenadier at 1k miles then the diffs everytime he changes oil. now that's crazy lol

Oh ya I saw the drop down has options. Both just don’t make sense. Not a dig at what you going on. Just doesn’t make sense so was curious if that was Shopify driving that cost.

Either way wouldn’t touch usps ground saver with a 10’ foot pole haha. No savings is worth a package never arriving. lol
