Apologies first if this has been covered but I been through a few threads and couldn't seem to find the answer.
I am looking to replace the factory muffler with a Borla S-type muffler. I am not looking to do any other mods to the exhaust system. Has anyone completed this work and what part number did you use? I have been to 3 shops in my area and they say go the website but I can only find part numbers for complete exhaust work. Again, only looking to do the muffler.
Thanks for the help!

I'm of no help with the s-type as a stand alone muffler. However, the muffler in my signature has been nice to have. It's not super aggressive but does provide a nice tone. I don't often get to hear it as the driver but I enjoy it when my wife is pulling up the road to our house. If I'd remove the resonators it may get a touch louder but I've not tried.

I know its not the S-type you are asking about but in all honesty you would be money ahead and about the same sound you are looking for to go with the B2 Fabrication oval muffler. Plus if you are kind of handy with tools you can install it in the driveway. If you are set on the Borla (I like Borla and have never had an issue with the products) muffler try summit racing, most of the time if you call them they can help you get a part number that is not easily found with the search bar.

Ok, so I was told by my exhaust shop that I can use part number 400843. That particular part number comes back as one specific to a Chevy 350 motor. I ordered it and hope to have it installed by Wednesday. Hopefully, everything goes good!
