Thought I'd share because I know Ram Cares supposedly sees these posts. This is the "warranty" repair from my local dealership. I have the paperwork to prove it. What the hell does a guy have to do to get a decent repair? What's the point in an extended warranty if the dealership thinks this kind of work is acceptable?

That's horrible. I know that that's how others have fixed theirs. But you can do a better job then this mess.

Looks like they had 'Shakey McGee' caulk your conestoga wagon so you could cross the Green River in The Oregon Trail. Or it was some kid that just got let go from General RV center after an unsuccessful camper caulking career came to an early end. I'd demand satisfaction on that one.

that's not possible you have got to be trolling us.
anyway MANY videos and posts on flowable silicone. with some painters tape and 2 tubes you could have fixed it faster than it took you to drive to the dealer.

I have the invoice to prove this was a glass shop.

True that I could do it myself but why let Mopar ***** out on warranty work. They need to make it right. At the end of the day, the dealer helped cover labor and I got a solid window at cost. I'm satisfied.

I would have taken one look at that and told them to take it back and do it right, I wouldn't have even left the parking lot.

That’s a “Hard No”.
