What did you do to your Ram today???

Bought my 2022 Rebel new. Installed a bug deflector on it in 2022, but it cracked & I never really liked the fit, & the clips scratched the paint. So I took it to my local Line X dealer & had them Line X where the bug deflector would go. I also had them Line X the the rocker panels. I also dented the top of my tail gate awhile back, so I popped the dent out, but I cracked the paint. So I had them Line X that too. All in all, pretty happy with it. All comments welcome, good or bad.
I think the rockers and the tailgate look pretty good

New smiling face for my Rebel X.

@KichoRebel , The only way I could find (that didn't turn on the some warning lights) was to connect the LED bar to the position lights. My friend dealer.... "same thing"

Therefore during the day, the LED bar remains off...

Since Monday I have been in Florida, and honestly I’m still surprised by the car culture here and the sheer size of everything. I had seen pictures and videos before, but I never imagined it would actually look like this in real life. The trucks, the dealerships, the parking lots full of pickups – everything feels bigger and more extreme than what we are used to in Europe. Today I stopped by a RAM dealership in Kissimmee to pick up some spark plugs and coils for my truck. As soon as I arrived it was clear that RAM culture here is on a completely different level. The parking lot was full of RAM trucks in every color and trim, lined up one after another, and near the entrance there were also a couple of Dodge Challengers. The most impressive thing I saw was a heavily modified RAM TRX parked outside the service area. The entire body was coated in a textured Raptor-style finish, it had huge off-road tires, bronze wheels and a heavy duty bumper with auxiliary lights. Inside the showroom there was also a RAM Black Widow edition truck with the spider emblem and lifted suspension. After that I went to the parts department and picked up a set of OEM Mopar spark plugs and coils for my Ram 1500 Pentastar. I gave them the VIN and they immediately found the correct parts. Visiting a RAM dealership here feels a bit like walking into a toy store if you are a truck enthusiast – lifted trucks everywhere, special editions, performance builds and endless rows of new RAM pickups. It really shows how big truck culture is here compared to Europe. 🚗 I am really impressed.

I got the Revel leveling lift installed on Friday. It's a 2 inch lift that really changes the look. It rides great also.
It's raining so I didn't crawl underneath to get a pic of the rear link.

Once I install the 8112 coilovers and DK UCAs I was planning on disconnecting the sway bar.
Well... I ended up disconnecting it this weekend to feel the body roll with stock coilovers and compare to new suspension. I also have a squeaking noise and I thought it was the links.
Turns out the noise isn't coming from the links. It's going to be the UCAs or the shocks, well both are soon to be replaced.

BUT, MAN, what.. a.. difference when offroading!
I actually did NOT notice ANY extra body roll in the highway at 80-90mph
Feels really well in the larger whoops
I also freed up the brake lines for when the tire droops.
I need to spend some time underneath and really clean all that dirt/mud.... maybe re-paint.

On my truck with Bilstien 5100s on the front, I noticed a big difference in body roll and the floaty feeling with sway bar disconnected and driving at highway speeds.

Don't get me wrong, maybe I do have more body roll than a stock truck.
I did notice extra body roll when I added the 3 inch spacers to lift it up to 4'.
I guess I have gotten used to it now because I don't feel it at all.
Disconnecting the Sway bar really had no impact for me in the highway but huge improvement in the trails.

Be careful disconnecting the sway bar when driving on public roads. You will loose some control due to body roll, thus not very safe for on-road use. If you have to make any evasive maneuvers, you exponentially increase your risk of roll over. My Jeep LJ stays disconnected when rock crawling for more axle articulation. But, that thing is down right scary as hell to drive on the road disconnected. The body roll and feel of less control is crazy. Disconnecting the sway bar may give you a smoother ride, but isn’t really that beneficial unless you are on terrain that exceeds the ability for your axles to drop enough for your tires to contact the rocks/surface.

Comparing a Jeep Wrangler to a Ram is an apples to avacados comparison . The Jeep doesn't have the best road manners with the sway bar connected. Everyone I know, that drives one frequently, is always commenting on how crappy the ride is, but they sure do look cool driving around with the doors off in the summer. /Sarcasm

True, but you are still greatly increasing roll-over risk.

Yes, but even without the front and rear sway bar connected, my truck wasn't horrible in the highway, but definitely not something I'd want to daily drive. To and from the trails is good

actually it's not that far of a comparison.
i had my sway bar off on my 4Runner and it was borderline undrivable on highway. i took it off because the end link keeps on snapping when offroading and tear my CV boot that I was basically rebooting my CV every week - reboot on Wednesday, go play on weekend and break it, reboot on Wednesday again, break it the same weekend, rinse and repeat.

Now we are comparing to a 4 Runner?

The Wrangler and 4Runner are both shorter wheel base vehicles than the Ram. They will inherently have worse road manners, especially with sway bar disconnected.

just kidding

Just got back from the U.S. yesterday, and the first thing I did when I got home was put the summer setup back on the truck.

Swapped it back to my forged 22s wrapped in 35x12.50R22 Venom Power Terra Hunter R/Ts. Love how it looks.
