If you have tow mirrors currently, you will need the different door switch panel. Then for the mirrors, whatever functions your truck currently has, those functions SHOULD work plug and play on the new mirrors. This truck we did the swap on did NOT have power folding, which is what we want, but are having a hard time getting it enabled by the dealer.

Had huge tow mirrors, dealer changed to sport mirrors. Everything works but 360 side cameras are way out of adjustment and no fix for that according to them. We didn’t change the door switch, figured some buttons just wouldn’t have a functional purpose anymore.

So I swapped my Tow mirrors to standard mirrors including new window control switch. Here’s what I have discovered.

1) My auto- fold doesn’t work- only if I press switch will they fold after turning off truck and opening door
2) Some views are not the same as they were with the tow mirrors - I

Update:

I’ve determined the passenger side camera views are reversed the curb is the blind spot and vice versa.
I put the tow mirrors back on to check. Everything was correct so it might be the module but not a biggie. I put the standard ones back on and now know which camera to view. Otherwise everything works same as Tow mirrors including auto fold. -Same with both set of mirrors.

Did you buy the control Modules as well. What all parts did you swap. I have the same set up with a big horn. Just making sure i order the right stuff. I didnt have power fold mirrors anyways with tow mirrors.

No just the mirror and the door switch which in my opinion is optional. I use the standard mirror switch, but I also tried the to mirror switch and it works whatever items you don’t have. They just don’t work and and there was no error, codes or lights or anything that popped up from it otherwise everything works great

As for the view on the passenger side, it’s just that the two camera views are opposite passenger Blindspot is actually the front is forward and the passenger curve is the Blindspot. Since I know this, I didn’t bother to go ask anybody to swap it out that way I keep everything factory.

I have a 2025 bighorn with standard mirrors. I want to swap for towing mirrors but I'm wanting to retain the power fold feature. Just wondering if you have successfully made the swap on your truck? And what part numbers

Has anyone with a ‘25+ Sport (Canada only trim) or higher trims tried swapping out the painted regular mirror that’s fully loaded (with power fold) to tow mirrors with fold? Are they plug and play or would need reprogramming at the dealership since Tazer, Alpha, JScan doesn’t work yet on these newer trucks? Power extend isn’ta concern for me but needs to retain power fold.

Looking to buy a set at my local dealership (if I can’t find someone locally to swap with) but need to make sure. I know I’d need a set of tow mirrors and door buttons panel correct?

Question, looking to go from sport mirrors to tow mirrors. I have yet to find someone who has successfully done the conversion yet.

Wondering if it's plug-and-play? Need anything else, like swapping out the driver door controls? Require dealer reprogramming?

My sport mirrors are pretty much fully loaded with power fold, BLIS, cams and heated. Have a 2025 RAM Sport Night Edition.
