I had a weboost installed in my truck a couple of months ago and it's worked relatively well. Place that installed it did a great job and I've been very happy with the overall experience. However, went out of town for a few days, truck parked at the airport, and came home to a dead battery. Turns out the power they tapped the weboost into is always on and over several days time it'll kill the battery. They tapped into the white/red wire for this unused 4-pin connector that's up on the left side under the driver's side of the dash. Anyone know what this connector is supposed to be used for? Anyone know what the other wires (blue, green/white, and black or dark grey) are?

No but you should be able to take a volt meter to it after the truck is off and asleep to see what is constant and what isn’t.

Thanks Maverik; I did try using my meter to figure out the other 3 wires but never found anything that came on with ignition/run. Would up getting a voltage sense relay from EgisMobile and it's worked perfectly. Turns on when voltage goes above 13.0v (so alternator working) and then has a selectable time delay (I set for 30 minutes) to turn off when voltage falls below 12.7v. If voltage falls below 12.0v then it turns off immediately.

4 pin plug - that is for aftermarket trailer brake controller. there is power and ground in there, not sure if its keyed or always on

Good to know! It’s always on; that’s how I wound up with a dead battery at the airport.

you can use one of those add-a-fuses in the fuse box under the column, and grab some switched power there
