Remote start recommendations?

Hey all,

I would like to add remote start to my 2021 Rebel EcoDiesel. It does not have the factory hood latch switch.

I see some kits like Start-X which do look pretty simple and clean, but I don't love the wire splice and I've seen a few questionable reviews.

I also see that there is an OEM Mopar retrofit kit, but I'm not exactly sure how this works.

I wish I could just go the AlfaOBD route but I have two factory fobs and it seems a bit of a waste to buy/program another plus adding wiring for the hood switch.

What is the cleanest solution?

Factory.

But I have heard the start-x is nice. But I've done the whole wire splicing thing before. I'll always stick with factory over that.

I installed Start-X on my last Ram. Installation was simple, and the system works exactly as I expected. Ideally, OEM would be the best route, but pricewise and simplicity make the Start-X a great alternative.
