Hey all! I just picked up my 2026 Rebel about a week ago. I live in MS, and flew out to AZ to close the deal. We made a nearly 3,000 mile road trip out of it and hit 7 national parks between the dealership and home. Hell of a way to break in a new truck. Adventures like this are just the start!
I'm coming from a 2020 Jeep Gladiator Rubicon. In my opinion, it's the ultimate adventure vehicle, but with getting married and having a baby boy since then, it's time to let the Jeep go for something that's more of a family truck. The plan is for a mild adventure build that maintains comfort, daily drivability, and towing capability, as we may purchase a small travel trailer in the near future. So far, I'm very impressed with the power, space, comfort, and even the fuel economy in the Ram. I'd heard mixed reports, but I personally averaged 19.1 mpg over the 2,745 mile trip on 91/93 octane, and that includes city driving, off roading, and 75+ mph through most of Texas.
Looking forward to reading up on the forum and sharing my adventures/mods with y'all!
