What did you do to your Ram today???

Didn’t have good luck searching for a comprehensive exhaust thread, but if anyone remembers, I’d appreciate the link.

I remember someone made a single 3” for the tradesman, and now I can’t seem to find one…

Save money and find a local exhaust shop to build you an exhaust. Will probably be cheaper than any off the shelf kit you will buy

Yeah, I know, but I saw that nice single 3” tailpipe without resonator. ;) There isn’t a 2500 short box to use that.

The only thing I found today was the turndown in front of the axle. I’d pick a muffler that sounds good and like the smooth single sound. Oh well, you are probably right, cheaper to do it locally. B2 is in my town, so maybe I’ll check them.

That would probably be your best bet if they are local to you

These showed up today. I really didn't need them, but with a snow trip on the horizon I'd rather be safe than sorry. I also have the fronts coming as well.
If there is anyone who is super knowledgeable about Mopar clips or fastener I could really use some help. I'll include a thumbnail of it and I'd super grateful

not specifically what I did to my Ram but I did order a Starlink Mini ($229 plus tax).
Planning to put it on the roof of cab so I don't have to set up Starlink every time I set up camp.

also exploring ideas to use wireless carplay while connected to the Starlink wifi.

Starting to commute more...just downsized from the 35 inch 80 pound tires to a 285/60R20. I already miss the 35s lol

That's why I went 285/65R20, because I didn't want a full 35x12.5, but still at roughly 102 lbs with tires and new wheels.

Geez, that was annoying, Could not find this thread using search here, had to use Google. And then the AI response at the top was talking about computer RAM. Anyway, a few links down and here I am.

Washed it! Way overdue, covered with Aphid honeydew which turns black over time. I should have taken a "before" pic. Here is after:

I am now using a two-bucket method for all washes, a rinse bucket and a wash bucket. This is the wash bucket at the end after rinsing the mitt each time:

I had the truck ceramic coated about April before the Aphid season got going, and it was much easier to clean compared to my '04 Silverado which has not had any wax or anything since I bought it used many years ago. Still was quite a job to get the crap off of it. This was the first wash since getting the coating done. Will do it more often next year.

Next time you use Google, use this

site:5thgenrams.com "search words here"

Don't use the quote marks just type what you are searching for. It will only show results from this forum

I hear that. I couldn't find much locally for that size, so went with 285/60R20. I might throw on some good quality wheel spacers to get some of that aggressive look back

That is exactly what I do, except the site directive at the end. There are a bunch of useful Google directives. The quotes are handy too if searching for an exact phrase.

My installation for Long tube Headers start today! Man, am I nervous for a broken bolt.
Doing this installation myself... shops wanted to charge $1300 to 1800.
Wish me luck, I will post pictures hopefully of a successful installation lol.
Headers are Stainless Works for a 2021 Ram 1500 Rebel.
I did mine in my garage. Took me much longer than I wanted. Had to let a shop finish them up due to a couple of issues including the oil dipstick

Yeah, same strategy, if I'm unable to complete the job I will take it to a shop. I saw I could bend the dipstick, so I will try that.

that search function is quite useful, limiting your search result to the forum only.

just sayin.

well i think my OE battery bit the dust today lol

truck parked for 48 hours with rain and overcast the whole time, so solar panels not pushing enough juice to charge the battery.
went to start the truck around noon, and it almost didn't start.
drove 35 minutes on highway to office and when i got there start/stop still says it's charging battery...

battery tester will probably tell me battery is good again, but f it ordered a new one. not sure if it's gonna get delivered today

update:
battery ordered at 2PM, passed by the shop on the way home at 530PM and changed it. battery tester said battery still good, but out of 730CCA i only got 530CCA left.
ended up with a brand new Group 94R ACDelco for way over 50% off.

found a crap ton of dirt and water in the battery try after i removed the battery so I drilled 2 holes to drain.

This was my previous Limited MY22 5.7 e-torque battery.

It always worked, but 70 Ah and 680 A of starting power always seemed low to me...
I often thought about changing it for a bigger one.

And also it was EFB...and not AGM
