What’s everyone doing for wiper blades these days?

ran scrub blade for a year. great for dust and mud from offroading, and awesome for bugs and such from road trip.
scrub blade was what I ran when I did that 15k miles road trip to Alaska and Tuktoyaktuk last year and they were great.

this year I am running Bosche (forgot what model) only because we have a bunch of those at the shop and i got them for free.99.
only complain is I got wiper "hop" on the driver side when the wipers are in the vertical position (end of up stroke) and makes squeaking sound. I do have Rain-X applied so that could be the issue.

Why not go back with OEM? I find they are the smoothest and quietest of blades, no matter the intensity of the rain or the speed on the highway. I know they cost a bit more but they work perfectly and seem to last. My 2019 still has the original blades and work perfectly

There was a thread a long time ago where these were recommended as they are very close to the OEM wiper blades, which alot of people regarded as pretty solid (this was back in 22 or so when I ordered my truck and was doing alot of reading so OEM blades from a '25 might suck for all I know if they changed suppliers). I have changed these out every year so I am on my 3rd set of these, in Ohio so a mix of hot/cold/ice/snowy weather and have been very pleased. These look pretty good and really close to OEM . I may try these when my originals wear out. Great price too!

I went to Autozone and got sticker shocked. Heck, I thought I was going to have to finance!

What is everyone using these days

I use Rain X, walmart has them , blades dont seem to last as long as the use to, max about 1 year then changing them replace again.

i like these they don't look crazy like universal and work great. the connection to the arm look's stock or better

I just bought some RainX Truck & SUV Wiper Blades with Graphene. We'll see how long they last. I'm hoping I can get a year out of them. The AZ heat and UV usually kills wipers quickly.

Hi all,

So just wanted to speak about something that I believe to be one of the best modifications you can do to any vehicle greatly enhancing rain driving safety.

I've tried multiple wiper blades (Bosch, Armor all silicones, Trico, OEM, etc) because I'm super picky on the function of the wipers. I hate chatter and streaking, believe that wipers shouldn't even be heard going across the windshield and should effectively keep the water off the windshield without digging into the glass over time.

Five years later and I'm still running the factory originals. It's amazing how well they work when you maintain them and clean them. I use denatured alcohol to wipe the blades clean about once a month.

They are still streak free and clear the windshield like they did when new.

I've tried Michelin, Rain-X and Bosch. All of them work fine early on, but none lasted as long as they should. They all started streaking after about a year from exposure to the Texas heat. The very best ones I've had came from Amazon, cost half the price of the name brand and are still going strong more than a year later. For $17 you get two full 24" blades, one left, one right.

My OEM wipers lasted over 3 years so when they wore out I tried a $20 pair from Amazon. Not happy with them. They don't clear the windshield, streak, and the blade does not come in contact with the lower passenger side of the windshield. I'm going back to the OEM and hopefully I'll get 3 years again.

It's recommended to change your wiper blades at least once a year. Walwuid you live in areas of extreme weather, like extreme heat/sun or extreme cold/ice
