Fender Flares or not? *Update Flares and Spacers Installed*

I was contemplating the SF1 color-matched, but my wheels don't stick out enough, then considered the RC Sport flares color-matched. I'll wait until next year to decide. I've sunk enough money this year

You & I have the same good look going on, IMO.
I did give a lot of thought on the RC Sport flares when I was considering using a 295/60R20 which would have had 1.11" poke, but ultimately I decided to save as much gear and weight as I could, and went with the 285/60R20 with 0.91" poke and then the OEM flares made better sense to me.

The RCs are supposedly 1" width compared to 0.75" for OEMs, so I see your point if getting chips.

Yeah, plus I would PPF them before installing so they don't possibly get beat up from rocks. I believe OEM come with a film, but they're bad. Guessing previous owner lived on rock roads. I thought it was paint splatter from painting the road lines until I went to clean them up.

The Variant comes in Matte Black, Matte Gunmetal, Bronze/Gold, and Candy Blue.

Mine started as Matte Gunmetal, but it didn't match my GCM and the contrasting shade made me have them dipped/stripped and P-coated with Prismatic Coating OEM Color-matched P-coat.

Prismatic has factory matched coatings for ever color..but their Clear Vision Clear P-coat has to be used to exact match the factory color. My P-coater didn't do that as I asked and used the clear he had on hand! The color was spot-on, but it slightly darkened when the clear was baked on a couple days later.
As first, I was a bit unhappy, but quickly decided I actually like the slightly darker shade better..it has a very slight color-shift irridescence to it. Perfect color match at some angles, and slightly darker shade at other angles. I love them!

Thinking about it, when the tread is worn on these, I think I might do the TRX wheels next. But I’ll probably change my mind between now and then

Yeah the painted bumpers suck for rocks. Depending, you could always pull it an powdercoat for better protection. I'm swapping both of my bumpers probably next year with Rough Country and powdercoating them OEM color so they match.

What luck have you had with power coating? When I had my JK Wrangler, everything I added that was power coated eventually rusted. That’s why I am leery of it with the truck.

Many parts PC from companies don't hold up because I believe they're low quality coating. Especially the chinese ebay bumpers etc. That's why I'm redoing the RC bumpers before installing, plus I wanted OEM color matched. I did the bumpers, step grating and grille on my 4th Gen.

Possibly, depending color. My wheels are PC matched to Maximum Steel Metallic

Prismatic Powders can pretty much color match any OEM color.

This link will take you there..if it doesn't go straight to color match, click the "three bars" on upper left, then click Color Match, then put in your color/color code to find out.

Find a powder coater near you and they can order a pound or amount needed for your project. Make sure they get the recommended "Clear Vision" clear coat top coat also.

Well, I appreciate all the input. I have finished the install. I went with the Paint Matched SF1 flares and BORA 1.75” spacers up front and 2” in the back. I’m sorry about the dirt, it’s been raining here for 2 days. I’m super happy with how it came out.
