Way to ruin Ram Limited Experience with bubbling dashboard!

I agree with that conclusion. Mine didn't separate until I applied a leather treatment product and then it did it within a week. Thankfully I used very little, and my separation is only in two spots and very subtle.
I also agree with that conclusion. When my truck was brand new I bought a gallon of Mopar Total Clean to use to clean the interior. Everything in the interior. I worked very nicely. It was soon after that my dash started bubbling and separating. I came to the conclusion myself that it was likely that product. With my new dash I use only a microfiber cloth VERY lightly dampened with water to wipe my dash clean. My new dash is holding up very well. I still use the Mopar product everywhere but the dash and it works very well. It does an especially good job on the leather seats as it doesn't strip the clear coat off those. I even use it on my BMW leather seats and it cleans them very well also without stripping the clear coat on those. I never put any other leather products on any of my leather in either of my cars because just cleaning them with the Total Clean makes them look like new. I think leather conditioners are a gimmick and don't trust them. Just me.

I had to pay 40%, I'm out of 3/36.
I could buy the dash myself for $502 + tax and shipping then still had to install it myself, my guess is that it would have been right around $600-650.

I paid $602 and Ram paid the rest and installed it, no brainer to me
I hope they do that for me.

I went in and was polite to them and explained that I'd read that Ram admitted the defect int he dash. He didnt even flinch, looked at ikt for literally 2 seconds then put the data in the system and waited for Rams response on what they'd cover.

My suggestion is to go to a known good dealer service center and politley as the very same

It is a new goodwill system they use. There is a catch to goodwill. They will only cover 1 goodwill repair on a vehicle. That means if you engine blows up at 62k miles, there is no option for goodwill.

Good to know.
I have a 7 year unlimited mileage warranty so I'm good on anything mechanical

No dealer in middle Tennessee is concerned about good faith. Franklin Jeep/Ram, Columbia Jeep/Ram neither are interested in making it right. I would suggest not dealing with these people.

Neither is Greenway in Orlando.

Did Ram cover it or did you pay?
Ram cares covered. I was still under warranty when it started. Tech dropped the ball and dealer refused to cover. 1 email to Ram cares with an explanation and it was addressed. Hopefully this lasts as I keep my vehicles for many years. This has been an issues for many years with JDCR vehicles. The 300's had dash and door warping. And the JGC'a had the dash issue as well.

Just picked upy truck, everything looks good.

Leather looks exactly the same as the original. I've read some comments where the leather was changed and had a different texture but this is exactly the same. Part number is different though, ends in AG so there's been a few revisions.

No squeaks and no rattles, good job(y)
Do you know the name of the service advisor you worked with?

You out of your regular warranty, (3 years or 36000 miles) in time and mileage. Read your extended warranty carefully. You may get lucky with the dealer to do a good will repair as this is or was a common failure with those dashes and years. Good Luck.
Not at my dealer

I would do that and have talked with my service rep at DonFranklyn Corbin KY and waiting on his response for the “cost share” that the Ram Cares spoke about during our call. Hopefully but not holding my breath. Been waiting for couple weeks for a response from the extended warranty I purchased on my wheels for road hazard repairs.

Maybe Ram Cares will contact them on my behalf as the dash is a known problem! Thank you!

I am having the same problem with my 2020 Limited. I only have 29K miles on it, and the back window is leaking and the dash is bubbling. I have already had to have the Etorque battery replaced. It feels like I have a lemon on my hands. I'd love recommendations on a dealership in the Atlanta area that can help me. Running into a road block at my current dealership.

You don't have a lemon if your back window is leaking and your dash is bubbling. Both of those things happen to all of us but are not safety issues unfortunately. Aggravating, yes. Costly if you have no warranty? Yes. Mine bubbled in the first year. Got replaced under factory warranty and new one has been perfect. Back window? Mine leaked since I got it. Eventually fried my RF hub within 3/36 and hub was replaced under factory warranty. But not window. Eventually leaking window fried another RF hub and this time I made an insurance claim and got the window (Safelite) and RF hub replaced for $250 deductible back in November of 2024. Lo and behold window started leaking again a month ago and Safelite replaced it again at no charge, this time with a better window apparently, the first replacement had a design defect. I don't know anything about Atlanta, but hopefully some of my story helps you. Good luck.
