What did you do to your Ram today???

I’ve got a 2023 1500 Laramie. Added the Built to Serve wheels after I got it. Coming up on 8 Sept, I’m getting Bilstein 6112’s in the front with 5160’s in the rear and Icon tubular UCs. I’ll be leveling and putting on Pirelli Scorpion XTM ATs in 275/65R20. I’ve seen a lot of good on these tires, but does anyone on here have them yet?

I actually have a set of 4 delivering today in 285/55/22. Like you, I saw the great reviews, paid attention to how light they are, and they look the part. I will give an update on them after I mount and balance. Not alot of information out there yet on these.

Doing paint correction and a polish this weekend then off to get PPF on the front and window tint.
Body color mirror caps, FitcamX, and bedrug are on the way

Folding mirrors are a game changer; not sure why they didn't make that stock.

My '21 Limited did not have them. My '25 does. I'm just glad they finally figured that out. I would hit the button in my '21 to fold them in every time, but not having to do that sure is nice!

I love the interior color, have indigo/frost in my 20 limited. The silver laramie in the pics is a rental and it has black interior and its effing hot after sitting for a few hours, I hate it.

I got ceramic window tint film all around in my truck - including a clear film on the windshield. It still gets hot inside the truck if it's parked in direct sunlight on a 95 degree day. But, not nearly AS hot, and definitely no issue with the upholstery being uncomfortably hot.

Also ordered the 12.1” Uconnect 5 mod kit from DD Offroad. This forum costs too much.

That was just an example. If I have been out getting dirty, I don't worry about getting in and driving, either. Black interior makes that easy for me.

Had some rotten luck last night on my way home from work. Hit something on the Interstate and blew the tire and put a huge dent in my rim(ruined rim) Totally blows. No pun intended. Seems I’m going to have to get a used rim. Found a set(4)with tires for $1000 or a single for $400.
Anyone ever had a rim repaired? And anyone know the cost of a repair like this?

That was just an example. If I have been out getting dirty, I don't worry about getting in and driving, either. Black interior makes that easy for me.

I get it, In the 5 years Ive had the limted, Ive never had that issue. Usually my getting dirty is doing stuff around the house. The only other place I'd get dirty is at the track but I usually take an extra shirt and towels when I do go incase I break something and have to do some work.

My Z28 interior was black, my Z06 interior is black, I need a diffent color for the truck

Going to be at least a couple hundred to get wheel repaired. Usually cheaper to buy a used take off wheel when dealing with factory wheels.

Heard an exhaust leak so looked for it. The gasket right before the muffle is blown out. Went to orlies and its not directly listed so I have a chance of having the right one or not.

I've had a rim repaired and it cost me $150 and had to re balance the tire on the rim afterwards but it held air and was fine afterwards. that bend doesnt look to bad

My running board brackets needed some attention, didn't like the rust and road rash, not a lot of miles on them. 4 of the brackets are for the full length stainless boards and 6 are for the black polypropylene boards (TRX).
Thinking of adding some PPF to the sides for some protection against road rash.

Mounted some new Pirelli XTM AT's in 285/55/22 sizing and did the proven heat gun and ziptie trick to fix the rub issue.

Nice going. I have a 2001 Dodge Ram 1500 with less than 90K on the odometer. Didn't have the time back in the day to pay attention to the necessary maintenance and it is dying a slow death from body rot. Not happening with this one. Did the under carriage 3 years ago with touching up any rust and some rust preventors. On the agenda again.

My brother has replaced the doors on his 2000 diesel 2500 Dodge Ram and my neighbor has replaced any rot/body panels on his 1995 Ford diesel along with a fresh paint job. His dad had a body shop and he grew up in the business. Considering the cost of a new diesel 2500 or F250 and the complexity of the newer vehicles the old rigs are worth keeping and maintaining.

I have had a few repaired. Depending on the severity and what they have to do. Mine were just curb rash and it cost me as low as $75 to $175. (CAD)

I NEED TO FRESHEN UP MY RUNNING BOARDS, SUCKY PART IS THEY ARE THE OEM MOPAR POWER ONES AND NOT SO EASY TO TAKE OFF

Thanks to all of y’all for the advice on the repair. I think I’ll call around today and see how much it will cost I seen that Discount Tire does repair as well. I wonder what they would charge? I’ll give them a call and ask I reckon. Keep y’all posted.

Those look good. They look like Nittos. I wonder what kind of mileage you will get out of them.
