2025 Ram 1500 Current Owners - Discussion, Feedback, and Problems

Went to start up my truck this morning. Dead. Nothing. 4k miles on the 25. Used two different jump boxes as well as jumper cables. Truck starts then shuts off immediately. Any ideas?

Calling the dealership now for another warranty visit but I suspect this isn’t just a battery
I've had the same thing happen to me twice but it's never shut off immediately after removing the battery so that's new to me. How long did you let it run before disconnecting the jumpers? Good practice says to keep it connected for a few minutes, right?

I've joined the dead battery club on my SST. I haven't driven the truck much lately but I did start it last week with no problem. I charged both batteries today and the interior lights and Uconnect system will come on, but when I try to start it I get a click and that's it. Doesn't even try turning over.

I joined the dead battery club on Sunday. Dead dead, no nothing. I had to use the metal key to unlock the door to get in and pop the hood so I could jump it. I drove it right to the dealer. 9000 miles. 2025 Limited.

Dealer tested the batteries, they were "severely low" They took a charge, and are supposedly all better now. Now they are performing parasitic draw tests. My truck is 100% bone stock, so it is a Ram problem, not something I added. More to Follow as the situation develops.

Sometimes when I start my truck in the garage, it sounds like there's an exhaust leak. It's very loud - not the normal for this 6 cylinder.
I rotated the tires today and crawled under to look around. I found this spot where it looks like a weld is faulty, and there was some condensation leaking from it.
Thoughts?? (from people smarter than me)

Looks like a leak to me.
My front driver brakes/wheels started chittering. I think maybe a brake shim.

I've seen 1001 exhausts have small "leaks" where it's apparent condensation was sneaking through, but it never produced a louder exhaust tone. Perhaps your instance is different, but I have my doubts that is sometimes making your truck louder.

I'd agree with this. I hesitated to even mention the loud noise because I can't really quantify it. sometimes it's very noticeable - like you can feel the pressure in your head. Other times it doesn't seem to be noticeable at all. Weird....
But I completely agree this pinhole isn't causing what I hear sometimes.
Regardless, wondering this pinhole is worth a trip to the dealer and all the BS that goes with (I doubt I'll get a loaner).

I’d rather deal with it now than when it’s out of warranty and possibly gets worse🤷🏻‍♂️
My 2¢

I love this truck, but man this is frustrating. 35,000 miles and I've had check engine lights, Uconnect issues and now a dead truck that wouldn't turn over. I'm curious to see what the dealership says on Monday.
