Dash cam dash mount

My dash cam (Viofo A119 V3) is mounted high, to the right (passenger side), behind the rearview mirror. It's not blocking any view.

I'm also using the SimpleUSBPort adapter.

Any chance someone knows of an adapter to fit the camera rear view mirror? I looked at the model detailed earlier and it states it does not work with the camera model mirror. Thanks

I ended up going with a setup from insta360.com since their cam has a super compact design and sticks right behind the mirror without blocking anything. Wiring was easy to tuck, and it connects to my phone fast whenever I need to check footage. Didn't bother with a mount on the dash—didn't really need it with how cleanly it fits up top.

I trimmed a small section of the rubber mat and ran the wire through the dash pocket. It's clean and works great without drilling or using sticky mounts.

Did you mount your dash cam low ?
