I can now be added to the long list of people with this same issue. My truck has been in the shop over five weeks. Part is on backorder with no estimated arrival date. It’s sad that a warranty part that is commonly bad is not readily available. My dealer also has no courtesy cars available. So I’ve been stuck for the past five weeks with no vehicle. And will not have one for the foreseeable future. The only communication I get from my dealer is when I contact them.

Is the bearings bad ?

Not sure. First I was told it was the tensioner belt and it would be $640. Dealer replaced the belt and that didn’t fix the issue. I was then told it was the eTorque system and the cost would be $2,000+. Thankfully I had read this forum and asked about a warranty. My, truck is a 2020 and has 77,000 miles on it, so it’s under warranty. If I hadn’t asked I would’ve been billed. Now I’m impatiently waiting…

Once they found out it was a warranty and they were not making money your truck was moved to the back of the line.
