Wait I can put my gages and pitch roll on my 12" never even tried it. Maybe cause I don't have vehicle default to bottom area or maybe just I use radio, nav, Android, controls only

Mine updated the other day. It Blue screened the backup camera while I was parallel parking my truck. Great timing.

Took a good drive today after the update two days ago. Still FUBAR.

Seems the next 3 steps will be:

• Soft reset (holding down volume and tuner buttons)
• Hard reset (disconnect battery for 5-10 minutes, and step on brakes for 15 seconds to bleed off any charge)
• Warranty visit to the dealership

not seeing the glitches that others were talking about but i do feel like the gauge page is missing something.
also not sure if the pitch and roll page was any different.

Mine is totally fubar. Keeps cycling screen sizes and randomly restarts. Sometimes load the panes with my apps and other times they are empty. It’s a coin toss if it’s going to do anything or load anything. I turn the power off, and it turns itself back on. Really frustrating.

MY24-U35.26-PROD is garbage.

It's frustrating how they could release such a straight up trash update and not be pressured into finding a hotfix ASAP.

Out of all the vehicles I've owned, RAM has the least amount of online presence and Stallantis definitely doesn't feel the need to move a muscle at much more than a snails pace because of it.

Mine are still screwy a week later. Only have trans temp and voltage for gauges. The rest disappeared.

Also have a Jeep for vehicle icon on pitch/roll. RAM truck is gone. Fricking ridiculous.

Previously I had UC 4 on an 8.4 for 5 years and worked flawlessly with no updates that entire time. Had original software from the factory in 2017.

I'll try a soft reset (reboot) on mine tomorrow when I go out for some aluminum channel and whatever I dream up overnight, stayed home today having fun setting up a gun cart.

Hopefully get a good result on this first-world UConnect problem tomorrow.

That sure would be nice. I’m annoyed that 3 years of updates on my truck and that still hasn’t been addressed.

Interesting that you noticed your CarPlay connecting quicker, mine seems to take an entire minute or more, which it never did before

I’m telling you.. I get in the car, start it… and within 10 to 15 seconds it’s connected and streaming.
2023 Limited. iPhone 16 pro, updated to latest IOS 18.5.
Out of the last 10 to 15 times I got in/out of my truck, one time… I had to manually go into the profiles and tell it to connect car play to my phone, and I suspect it’s because my wife was in the truck and even though my phone is marked as primary, it freaked out.
Otherwise, yeah, it’s much faster to connect.

Hope you both have better luck. I do typically reboot my phone every week or less. Not sure if that helps or not.

Finally let mine update because it wouldn't shut up about it, and it seems to have gone well. It also doesn't seem to have done much on a '25.

over the last couple of weeks, I have had 3 or 4 failure codes. Since then, the items I have experienced have been:
1. Radio would not turn off after shutting down truck and opening door. Would eventually after a couple of minutes after getting out.
2. Radio would start an annoying buzzing sound, only way to stop it was a soft reset, then things would come back normal.

Hasn't tried to update in about a week, so might try the update scan in my driveway.. see what happens.

That’s exactly what happened with mine. No more attempts to update, but the 29.44 brought on issues I didn’t have before
