2025 Ram 1500 Current Owners - Discussion, Feedback, and Problems

Does everyone’s front windows go all the way down or does the back of the window stick up about 3/8-1/2 inch?

My passenger side front window (back of window) goes all the way down, the driver's side stays up a little less than 1/4 inch. But if I then give it a shove down, it goes to almost flush but still not as low as the passenger side. Then when I raise it up at all and lower it again, it stops at that almost 1/4 inch up position. Strange indeed.

Retest failed. Window just doesn’t go down all the way 🙁
Did you re-calibrate the door modules by rolling window all the way down while pressing and holding the window switch for 3 seconds after the window is down, do the same thing for window up, then repeat one more time

Held for 10, one cycle. Will try for 3 sec. and 2 cycles

I have the window issue, but on the passenger front window, not the driver side. Stays about 1/2" up, and when pushed down is still about 1/8" high.

I thought it was just me but see others are having the same issue. I also tried to set the limits/cycle without success.

I was going to have the dealer look at it but don't want them tearing into the truck. It bothers me but can live with it for now. When I get around to doing sound system and deadening, I'll see if I can adjust the bottom a bit for it to sit as it should.

I Had a 2014 then a 2019 5th gen and didn't have this issue.

Unfortunately, mine is on the driver side and it definitely doesn’t feel good when I put my arm on the windowsill now that the weather is getting nicer. The dealership is going to fix it around 5 May. I’ll post what they find.

Yeah being on the pass side is better for me since as I smoke so I have my windows down alot. More than anything it's an eyesore everytime I look over since it stands out even more w/ the tint. I'll snap a Pic in the morning and post it up.

I'm sure you'll chime in here when it's done, I'm interested to see what your dealer has to say about it. I'll hang tight for a couple months and give it a go when I pull the door panel.

Just tried on my rebel, all windows go down all the way , the front passenger stuck up barely I pushed it down and then switched up and down a few times and now it goes all the way down. But I've noticed these windows mess up my tint pretty good! My 2024 did the same thing , this tint isn't cheap either! Ceramic!

Damn! That's bad, I was thinking the same because I have 5-10 of those scratches on my tints, ceramic too. I put on the in-channel vent visors whuch prolly don't help when the window wedges in. I did notice the glass on the '25 looks like a double glass, the window behavior is way different than my previous '19 DT.

@RamTruckMan
So, I was able to fix mine and didn't get a pic before doing it. Interestingly enough, the reset on my older ram was to run the full cycle with button pressed for 5 sec after bottoming out and then the same going up.

On the 2025, what worked was the following:
1. roll window down as far as itll go, let go the switch.
2. bump the switch a few times down, it will go down the extra half inch and be fully hidden
3. hold the switch down for 5+ secs
4. raise window and lower again, DONE.

This may save you a trip to the dealer, might as well give it a go.
