Big changes are coming to Ram Trucks—and fast. In a bold statement posted to LinkedIn, Ram CEO Tim Kuniskis confirmed the brand will launch 25 new product announcements over the next 18 months, signaling a major shift for the truck-maker known best for its half-ton and Heavy Duty pickups.

I saw this posted somewhere else and every commenter immediately assumed it meant 25 new vehicles or trim levels of vehicles. I read it to mean everything from a mid-sized truck to the return of a HEMI, and a new type of battery chemistry for the REV and Ramcharger. I assume it almost has to be including major components as products in this case.

They should make sure the quality and reliability is right, and that when problems occur, the dealer network can properly diagnose the problem AND obtain replacement parts on a commercially reasonable schedule or this is marketing BS without real, substantive progress.

So true. My wife is driving a 2024 wagoneer and has a blind zone issue. We called the dealer and they were 6 weeks out for an appointment to get it it. The day arrived to take it for our appointment and when we got there we were told they need the vehicle for 12 business days for diagnosis and then they would order parts. Provided the parts aren’t on back order they could get them within a week. They would not give us a rental at all. I ended up leaving with our $800 a month lease without having them look at it. I can’t be with out a vehicle and paying my monthly car payment while expected to pay for a rental for what sounds like could be 3-4 weeks best case scenario. I’ll drive this thing until the lease is up and let them handle their problem on their time. Unless this gets resolved we won’t be leasing or buying stelantis products anymore.

Wonder if we'll get a midsize truck to slot under the 1500 since the Classic is gone

Should be interesting. After the last year or so they really need to shake things up and bring some excitement back. I’m hoping for some really cool stuff to get released with more options than ever before when ordering.

While we're dreaming, I'd like the rcsb to come back, with the current interior, with the 6.4 hemi available at a semi-reasonable price. After a year or two of them proving it isn't unreliable because of electrical problems like my '25 laramie is, I'd consider trading in my rcsb v8 f150 on one.
