Does anyone carry a jumpstart pack?

I received my truck earlier than expected and had to leave on a month long vacation a week after receiving it. Having read about the Rams electrical fussiness, I installed a Battery Tender brand battery maintainer. Having multiple vehicles and not driving some for extended periods I've been using them on other vehicles for years.
Even the manual says iif the truck will not be started for a while to disconnect the battery. I find it easier to plug it in.

I owned a GMC Denali and now have a 2021 RAM with Hemi V8 eTorque and own two Battery Tenders which have worked flawlessly for years. Both vehicles, if left garaged for 5 days or more would experience battery drain, prohibiting starting them. As a result, not wanting to risk overcharging, believing “simple is best” I use this model available at Amazon for $52.86:
Battery Tender Plus Charger and Maintainer: Automatic 12V Powersports Battery Charger and Maintainer for Motorcycle, ATVs, and More - 12 Volt, 1.25 Amp Battery Chargers - 022-0185G-DL-WH

My wife and I both carry one as of this past winter. Her original 2019 battery died when we were out of town. My battery died the previous year, left me up the creek without a paddle. Then the new one died this past year... Obviously warrantied, but that doesn't help if you can't get to the store. For the price, I bought the DeWalt from Home Depot. It's obviously just branded DeWalt and not built by them, but I've used it to start a golf cart and tractor more than once in the 6 months that I've had it. It offers more than one or two start opportunities if needed. We won't drive without them now, especially in the winter.

I bought the Halo Bolt. Reviews looked pretty good.

Thread revive because I used my GB40 to jump a 6.7 2500 today. Didn't think it would work but it did.

I carry this GBX75 NOCO. She’s a weapon and starts big diesels and everything down without an issue. Another NOCO fan here.

same.
i drove 12 miles through saturday afternoon traffic to rescue my friend with my GBX75 because his el cheapo Amazon jumper wouldn't even jump his VW GTI with 2.0L engine.
I plugged the GBX75 in and it started right away. dude threw that POS $50 amazon unit in the trash and asked me to link him despite i told him that when he was buying jumper pack a few months ago. and I got there and got it all done BEFORE the tow truck arrived.

sometimes people just need to learn the hard way: don't buy cheap when it plays a role in whether you get to go home or not.

Your friend probably never charged his pack up after getting it. I have four of the "cheap" Amazon jump packs Id put up against the more expensive equivalent NOCO jump pack any day of the week. Have used mine many times to help others out, and a few times for myself. There was even a project farm video collaring different jump packs and the NOCO brand was best kit by cheaper options.

Link to what you use HSKR? Thinking of buying another to put in our Wrangler.. I’ve always used and trusted Noco for jump packs and for the float charging on the Noco Lithium battery in my Harley. But I’m up for less expensive, better performing options… TIA!

These are the ones I use.

Thanks Husker.
On top of that…there’s a 20% off coupon. $42 and change shipped, on the way. Appreciate it sir.
Does the black or gray one work better? LOL… kidding.

All of mine are gray. Lol. But I'm old and gray myself, and truck is also gray. I take them out of the vehicles and top off hat charge about every 6 months, if they aren't used. But I've also jumped three vehicles between recharges with no issues.

I’ve probably used my Noco until to jump more 2500/3500 work trucks and equipment then anything else.

This is what I keep in the truck I love it its so good I got a second one for the wife's car. The link above is from amazon.

With any of these small jump packs, the level of discharge of the battery on the vehicle being jumped plays s big part in if it will work or not. Especially on big v8s or diesels.
