Already installed the heated wheel and a new sccm ( clock spring) now I understand that I need to install a heated seat module under the passenger seat. I plan on adding the heating pads to both front seats soon so that's not a problem. My question is, how to get the connection between the steering column and the control module? I have read in other post on here that some of the other members trucks had come pre wired from the factory but mine didn't , mine only have a few wires under the manual passenger seat. Has anyone else ran into this problem? My vehicle is a 2022 Big Horn

Maybe we can get this moving again. Do you have the part numbers for the steering wheel and clock spring you got? Did you figure out the wiring?

My cold *** has been wanting to do this for a couple years. It seemed too complicated, so I gave up and ordered an aftermarket heated seat kit from leatherseats.com. After pulling my seats and pulling back the cover, I discovered that my seats have the factory heat pads already in them (WHAT?!!). The passenger seat even had the heated seat module. I bought the truck new and heated seats and wheel were NOT part of the equipment package. My center stack does not have the switches and there are no soft buttons on the touch screen. So.....That set me on a mission. I WILL have factory heated seats and wheel. After reading a thousand posts, I found two clues. One was to pay for a subscription to Alldata.com. The other was to book mark connectorrepairkit.mopar.com . With those resources, I think I have figured it out. Unfortunately, my body harness doesn't have the wires for the heated seats. I haven't looked at my instrument panel (IP) harness to see if it has the necessary wires yet. So, lets do this thing together. I am writing a how-to guide as I go and will post it when I'm done. I'm also going to do a Youtube video of the process. In the meanwhile, I'll post what I have so far.
I'm not Mopar tech and not certified in any way, so please don't be upset if I can't answer all your questions.

I have attached several diagrams. At first glance, they are confusing but hopefully I can help make sense of them. First, lets focus on the big yellow connectors under the driver's and passenger's seats. The passenger seat is where the wires from the power distribution system and CAN IHS system connect. That big yellow plug under the passenger seat is XY420A on the diagram. The wires in plug position numbers 5, 1, 14, 15, 30, 6, 7, 9, 4, and 8 on the body side of the plug pass through the seat side of the plug to the heated seat / wheel module, which is mounted under the passenger seat. (Don't worry about the seat side of the plug. Those wires will be included in the seat wiring harness you will need to order if you don't already have the module and heat pads. If you get seats from a wrecked truck that had heated seats, it will have them. That is probably the easiest and cheapest solution. Otherwise, you will need 2 seat heat pads, 2 back heat pads, driver's seat wire harness, passenger seat wire harness, and the heated seat control module. Individually, the parts aren't too expensive but combined, it gets really expensive.) The wires in positions 5 and 1 are from the power distribution center, which is located above the passenger side kick panel. The wires in positions 14 and 15 are from the CAN IHS connector, which is above the driver's side kick panel. The wires in positions 6,7,9,4, and 8 come from the body side of the big yellow connector under the driver's seat. That plug is XY410A on the diagram. I have included the pin-out diagram / list for both plugs. The first step is to investigate your plugs to see if you have wires in those positions. If not, you will need to fabricate a wire harness to add them. I believe it is a total of 12 wires. I have not made my wire harness yet but am confident I can. Depending on your DIY skill level and risk tolerance, you may want to stop here. We haven't even gotten to the center stack, steering wheel, and OBDScan programming yet. This is not for the faint of heart.

After reading my post explaining the wire positions, I realized that it may be confusing. The position numbers I listed are for the passenger yellow plug only. Unfortunately, the wires between the driver's and passenger seat don't share the same positions. In other words, the wire in position 6 on the passenger side doesn't connect to position 6 on the driver's side. It connects to position 2 (go figure). On the driver's side, you are looking for wires in positions 2, 13, 15, 3, and 14. Drivers side 2 connects to passenger side 6, 13 to 7, 15 to 9, 3 to 4, and 14 to 8. Attached is a diagram I copied from another thread. I would give credit to the author but I have read so many posts, I can't remember who it as. My apologies to the author.

I think i have figured out all the wires I need to add as well, it is taking some time to make sure i order all the correct pins for the different terminals. I wanted to get the factory color wires but don't seem to be having luck with that. I want to just add the connector and wires for the seat pads instead of getting new seat harnesses. I did however buy the passenger seat harness because I couldn't find the module connectors for individual sale. Do you have a good part number for the steering wheel? I think I want to buy a new "shell" and wire harness for it and just put my old airbag in it. I am concerned if I buy a used wheel that had the bag blown it will be messed up somehow.

I just bought a used heated wheel. The wheel and air bag are separate parts. The airbag going off shouldn't damage the wheel. However, the wheel could be damaged by the crash itself, so be sure to buy one that has a 30 day return policy just in case. I have no idea where you would find the factory color wires. I am just labeling both ends of mine and calling it good. I'm attaching the how-to guide I wrote. Please let me know your thoughts and if you see any errors. I have done one YouTube video so far and am working on the rest. Together, they should take this from being a super confusing, time, research, and frustration intense mod to being something anyone can tackle. Here is the first video. The guide is attached.
