Price negotiated from MSRP

New guy here. Been looking at new RAM trucks and trying to figure out incentives and rebates. I recently received a $1000 Bonus Cash Allowance by e-mail and also recently received a $2000 Private Bonus Cash Allowance by e-mail. Normal rebates for DFW area are $7500 now. Also qualify for the $1500 Ford Conquest rebate. So, I figured I had $12K in rebates. I've been to three dealers: one said I qualify for $9K in rebates. Another dealer said I have $10K. And the third said $11K. Is this normal?

Ya, pretty normal for most dealers to not know what rebates apply nor how to really apply them… at least from my experience. The two emails you got won’t both work, you’ll need to pick one to use. The conquest should work with the email rebate. The other rebates depend on not just location, but also model.
You can also join treadlightly and get a discount code from them.
If you’re not in a rush and don’t mind a little drive reach out to Anthony at Mark Dodge in Lake Charles. He can give you the straight answer on what applies and why. He can also get you a truck cheaper than anyone I found in Texas (I’m in Austin and checked pretty much everywhere).

Howd I do?? 2025 RAM Big Horn Granite Crystal, Night Edition, Level 2 Equipment Group, 12in Cluster & Radio. 3.6 v-6, MSRP $59,600. Dealer added mopar bedliner & running boards & picked up $800 in early termination lease fees of previous lease for $47k OTD including tax title doc etc. I wish the hemi was available, but the 3.6 aint too bad, not touching the Hurricane with a 10 ft pole.

2025 Laramie SST
MSRP: $70,500
Paid: $51,500
Trade: 21' Defender and got $1k over KBB
That's like 27% off, very good.
Can you believe people were paying 5 to 10,000 above MSRP just two years ago?

Values on the trucks are holding OK, I paid 59,500 for my limited which was a 2023 and I got 47,000 yesterday. 20K miles, Lomax tri fold.
Dealer didn't care about the $800 ceramic all around incl windshield tint documentation at all. The next owner likely would want/like to know...🤔

I know! It was insane. I was a little bit under on my defender that lost so much value. So this really helped me rightsize that plus walk out with a 25'.

I'm a little disappointed in the payload capacity but otherwise I love it on the first 1k miles.

Well currently RAMs are selling kinda cheap. Of course later on that will be a bite for those reselling but for now, it works.
I lost $13K in 14 months on my 23’ Ltd. Probably would have been better off leasing.

What did you replace your '23 with?

I got the "left over" 24' Buick Enclave. She said it was too slow... It is, but I'm a grandpa driver so, now I look like I drive. :)
Let's just say she preferred a more "spirited" feel, the hemi was great for her. Average mpg's always took a hard hit when she drove.
White car matches what hair I have left too.

I'm a little confused. Are you able to combine these offer? (Example. 25 Laramie 4x4)
1) National Conquest Bonus Cash $1500
2) National Truck Month Bonus Cash $2500
3) National Retail Consumer Cash $4000
Total - $8,000 In Incentives

With the 72 Month 1.9% Finance Offer?
Is it either the incentive or the finance offer?
What did you finance at? What were your incentives?

Generally it is one or the other and not both. I compared total cost of finance with incentives, finance with rate, finance with bank, cash or lease and ended up leasing but it will varybfor every truck and time of purchase as well as region!

I ordered a 2025 Bighorn Quadcab w/6.4 bed, Granite Crystal Metalic, Hurricane I6 with level 2 group so 12" display and 7" cluster, bed group including spray liner and step, off road group, trailer brake, 3.92. Folks seem to like Crew Cabs but I would have bought an Extended cab if i could have. Infact i would have bought a Laramie Quadcab if they offered it. But MSRP with options was $63K. After some back and forth, and locking in current incentives, agreed/signed for $50k. No trade in. I would have liked to get that down to 48k but with the 8K in additions i had i accepted 50k. I'm glad i didn't trade in my Grand Cherokee, still has itsuses.

I think you did ok.
My local dealer is only offering 7500 incentives on in stock 25’s, he still orders them all with the 26 gallon tank and P tires despite 3.9 gearing… like peeps want to tow with P tires and a 26 gallon tank.
I also noted delivery is $1995 now. Keeps going up and up.

Yeah if i traded in my GC i would have had it for 44K, but need the GC still. I didn't get the 33gal tank that was an oversight. I forget the mix of Incentives vs amount off MSRP they gave, but I'm good with it. and before the tariffs on parts hit. I can't get anyone to confirm what tires will be on it other than the tires that come with off road package. Did you know if you compare I6 window sticker MPG for 3.55 and 3.92 they are the same? Odd.

I don't think i could have got it much cheaper. Got the incentives locked in, and didn't lose my other vehicle to the deal. Like i said before, i think i left maybe 2k on the table just given my timeframe for purchase
