Bilstein 5100

Anyone try to put the 2024 5100 part number on a 2025 yet? I have a new 25 Laramie with ORG and want to put the 5100s on the front with new upper control arms. Was told the Mopar lift for 2025 is not out yet either? So any one has done this yet please post.

Bilstein is not showing that they make anything for Ram in 2025. I find it hard to believe that regular 5th gen Bilsteins don't fit 2025 Rams.

I figured as much. They should say so to avoid the confusion.

Probably like most manuf until they confirm the fitment personally. Could very well be they haven’t gotten their hands on a 25 to verify no changes in the suspension as far as bolt on’s.

which notch did you use...thats perfect.
Well I requested the 2.2 setting but when I picked it up they told me they set it up at 2.8 as they felt it may drop a bit in front when it settles. It is perfectly level right now at 2.8 front and just the 5100's on the rear. I am very happy they took the initiative to do the 2.8.

I got a reply from Bilstein today. Strange based on people actually using the existing part number on 25 Ram.

Thanks for reaching out to Bilstein of America. We appreciate your interest in our products.

I am sorry to report that we do not currently offer direct fit products for the 2025 RAM 1500. As it is expected to be available in the future for your application, I would recommend periodically checking our catalog (that I will link down below) for updates on this as I do not have an eta at this time. You may also reach out to Summit Racing for a comparable recommendation on your application if you wish to do so.

We appreciate you expressing your interest in our products, let us know if we can do anything else for you! Thank you!

Like mentioned above, the 2024 shocks probably do fit, but they have not verified it yet, so they will not state that they do fit

Ouch. This happened today. Slow turn around into a parking lot and bang. Felt the drivers side front lower. I'll call the shop that did the install tomorrow. Thank God I wasn't on the freeway.

Didn’t have the snap ring properly seated in the groove, and the bottom spring seat doesn’t allow it to come out

Make sure that CV boot doesn't have even the smallest hairline tear in it..or you'll have axle grease sprayed everywhere the first time you drive it!
A new shaft is ~$550 and would be simple to replace while that strut is removed if needed.

Great point. I am concerned with the axle shaft and boot and not sure if it hit the steering link on that side as well. If I'm lucky only the shock will need to be replaced and another alignment. I'm gonna ask them to tow it as I'm not sure its safe to drive without possibly damaging anything.

What hard trifold does everyone recommend for the ‘25? I got a rough country soft trifold some months ago, not in love with it. Doesn’t lay flat, want to go something more low profile. Was looking at the gator fx, but wanted to see what fit well for others

This is a thread about Bilstein 5100 shocks …. You probably need tonlook elsewhere, or start a thread of your own
