What did you do to your Ram today???

Has any 2025 owner of a HO Hurricane cut out/eliminated the rear resonators to the stock exhaust system? Thinking of cutting them out, replacing with same diameter pipe and make the assessment from there. Curious if anyone has done that.......yet......and the results!! Thnx

Sold it today ☹️
It was tough watching her being driven away but its time for me to move on. Its been a real one boys! Thank you to everyone on here for all the tips, tricks, and answers for my questions during my ownership. I'm going to miss this truck a lot!
I'm dying for a coupe with some V8 power *cough* Lexus RC F *cough*

Nope!

I'd sooner get an addition over a replacement.

I'm a old retired ahole. I don't usually like upgrade trucks much. That's a very nice looking truck, tastefully done.

RC F hmmm...
ever considered E92 M3?
V8 + 6spd MT or 7 spd DCT!

Photonerd :ROFLMAO::p

I did photography as a hobby for over 10years so I understood everything. I haven't touched my DSLRs for years (Canon 5D & 60D). I have an event this June and need to check if my batteries will hold a charge. Been thinking about transitioning to mirrorless.

I have a Tshirt that says "I Shoot Raw" There's a "photography" thread in another car forum I use to frequent.
photography is such a money pit...
i borrowed my friend's Canon EF 70-200mm F4 for the Alaska/ Arctic Ocean trip and got hooked. Came back and added a Sigma 70-200mm F2.8 for myself. $1500 gone for something I use like twice a month at most... but stunning results.
My go to multi purpose lens is still Sigma 24-70mm F2.8. Still my go-to now because it's much smaller and lighter than the 70-200 lol

For someone who doesn't do portrait... i'm frigging stoked about what the 70-200MM can do against lighting source

Or how creative I can get with the composition:

The depth of field:

Great for action/ panning shots too:

My buddy also got a new R5 (i think... it's one of those mirrorless ones)
the digital viewfinder is basically a night vision goggle LOL and that... is dangerous territory for me. been thinking about getting a second body just so i don't have to keep switching lenses.

Also i need that shirt LOL

Thank you!
I wish I could keep it but I just don't have the space or money for two vehicles.
I have a bad itch for a performance V8 lol

Hell yea man. If I didn't need a truck or 4WD/AWD and the ground clearance to go with it (I don't need that much TBH, hence no more lifting or "off road" builds for me), I'd be in a V8 car instantly. Montana isn't the place for that stuff though unless it's driven on the right roads in the right months.

Getting it ready to trade off… 😮🙄
Not for a 2025 RAM though. I will be getting wifey of 40 years her "personal" car she's been wanting. Since the truck is the higher value vehicle, it goes away.

So far it's value has dropped appx $12-14K in 14 months if the Carvana and Carmax offers are to be believed. So a lease might have been a better choice, ha ha.

Water under the bridge...

I still have my Pentax SP1000 SLR. I think it’s older than me and I’m old.

Oh I remember those! Got one in 1997 I think, gave it to my son and now the granddaughter has it... About nobody uses film anymore, which is fine.

Is that why my Polaroid stock shares aren't doing anything? 🤔🙄

A friend of mine has one and he’s been bugging me to get one lol.
That thing is an absolute monster!
But it’s going to be my daily driver and i’m honestly not too confident in the reliability of an older BMW.

My neighbor bought a really clean 3 series with 105K, I think it was a 2016...this was last year.

There were a couple CEL/codes and an abs light on, but he disregarded them. The car was so clean, well optioned, new tires and only $10K.
One owner too.🤔

After about 250 miles the instrument panel lit up like a Christmas tree. He took it to the bmw shop and it cost him $4400 to get the lights out. Then within 3 months another series of CEL/codes appeared.
Dealer quoted another $5K.

He replaced the $350 battery to get it driving and gave it to his son saying "if you want to fix it it's yours". Gee thanks dad.

Son put $2K in it at the dealership then the car bricked on a highway trip so he abandoned it to a tow company. 😮🍋

Earlier BMW and "reliability" don't seem to be compatible... At least that wasn't his experience. In 6 months or so he lost $14K and had nothing to show for it. 😬

The black paint did look great and the interior was really nice. I told him he could have just sat in it and played with the steering wheel while making "vroom vroom" noises.
He wasn't amused. 😮

Every BMW owner has told me the same thing, dont on one out of warranty. Nice cars but F all that expense. 100k mile 2016 3 series was probably 13-14K last year so they put some money in that pit

Mark Dodges pricing on Tungstens has got me looking too. I don't need a new truck but I want a tungsten and they're pricing is tempting. Dont call me Mark Dodge, I'm blocking you now 😂

I washed then clayed with a fine clay towel then did a 2 step polish (yes, again) and finally got a chance to ceramic coat it with System X Max G.
This ceramic coating should last 3-4 years. Claims 5-10 but IDK about that

Im going to take the wheels, clean, polish and ceramic coat them next week. Hopefully I won't have to do this again for a while

Washed my car the day before, coated it with Tacsystem Moonlight about 4 years ago, still beads water and very glossy. It lasts about 3-6 months on a DD that's kept outside, far better than any of the ceramic sprays and easy to use.
