New member, many questions:
Former owner of a 2014 Limited Crew Cab w/ long bed. Am I searching for a newer 5th gen one and none of these dealer ads or window stickers mentioned bed size. I have to call and inquire about it which I hate to do because then you get sucked in. Is there a way to tell the bed size when they don't list the wheelbase, Long Bed, or 6.4 in the ad or window sticker? All I know is a Limited Longhorn (or Larime Longhorne) with a crew cab is very difficult to find with a 6.4 bed (but I did), I just don't know if it's a Limited Longhorn or Laramie Longhorn. It may be a Limited because it has the Chrome lower door molding trim. Also, Can anybody recommend a bumper bed step that is sturdy. Some are selling on Amazon from $90 to $124, opposed to $350 from Mopar. I saw reviews on one that said it bent within the first month. What's the best aftermarket bed step? The truck I'm looking at has Husky floor mats and I want to get neoprene front seat covers from rough country. It also has a reg painted bed with a carpet inside. I was wondering if I should pay to have a bed liner sprayed in or to do it myself with Hercules. It has a Borla exhaust and the "off-road package" that gives it a couple skid plates and a 4X4 off-road sticker on the bed and maybe the off-road package adds an inch of height? I love the fact that the fold away step rails make the truck look higher when they're tucked up underneath. I want to buy A/T tires and want to know if there are any aggressive alternatives to the BF Goodrich K02's that I put on my last truck. Any clarification, recommendations and must-haves would be very welcome. Thank you!!

Welcome to the forum. Regarding bed size, if you have access to the window stickers, the 6'4" bed trucks will have around $3000 higher base price than a 5'7" bed truck. Right now at a local dealer they have a 5'7" bed Bighorn with a base price of $51535. They also have a 6'4" bed Bighorn and the base price is $54675. You are correct about the lack of the longer bed trucks, the dealer I was referencing has around 20 5'7" beds and only one 6'4" bed on their lot.

laramie longhorn = limited longhorn
they called it laramie longhorn from 2019 and then changed the name to limited longhorn in 2022 (2021?)

mine is a limited longhorn and does not have the chrome lower door molding trim, i was under the impression only the normal limiteds had that

You would think…they would put 5.7 or 6.4 on the sticker, I’ve looked at my sticker probably 100 times online..and never noticed they do not. Nor does a VIN decoder say it.
Crazy. I can easily identify one by eye simply by looking at the bed in front of the rear wheel..

Longhorn package usually has what I call more “cowboy” leather and design inside, where as Limited is more clean.
I was disappointed to find that you can no longer get Ram Boxes in a 6’4” bed in the newer trucks. Had them on my 6.4 bed 2015 limited…. Not having them was a deal breaker for me, some…don’t like them.

For floor mats, my last two trucks have been Limited, they are what I call near perfect. Carpet inserts you can keep on in warm months, remove them for the snow/slush/salt of winter.
Weather tech typically has a little more coverage up the sides and front than factory.

Some type of organizer under the rear seats is nice.
You’ll have under mat storage bins behind driver/passenger side in the floor, you can buy a lock for them.
I did on my 15. Never used them…but you can buy them.. :)

I would get a price on a spray in bed liner…. Vs. what you can do it yourself for… then find out what their warranty is vs. your own time and money if something fails. Your call. I can’t comment more because both mine had spray in from the factory.

Also have the factory bed step, and it’s outstanding… but can’t comment on aftermarket.
Since I have the Ramboxes, it also has the bed cargo gate/lock/tailgate extender. I can’t tell you how nice it is to leave it towards the back of the bed, use it for smaller items, and not have things rolling around in the bed as I drive. They make similar for regular bed trucks.

I believe the Off Road package raises and levels the truck a bit, I can’t say if it’s an inch or inches.
Me…personally… for a more luxury truck, would have the decals removed. Again, personal taste…

Regarding the step, I bought one for about $90.00 off Amazon and works fine. Probably used it 20 times in 6 months. Was a bit of juggling rotating the thing to the correct angle to get around muffler and into frame though.

Bed liner - Just depends on how much you use the truck bed. My last truck I had a tri-fold bed cover so used a bed mat for a while and that was fine. I bought a bed mat for my current truck, but not getting a bed cover. So figure it could blow away if there's nothing holding it down and no bed cover. So I'm about to have the bed liner done since I'm moving in a couple months and will probably make 100 trips back and forth haha.

neoprene front seat covers - Can you say 'swamp a$$'? I had them in my Jeep when I got it. Awful when it's warm out. Got rid of them in the front, but keep them in the back because of my kids and dogs.

Off road package - Yes, adds 1".

Tires are like shoes, everyone has a different need and preference. I ended up going with Falken AT4 which seem to get good reviews. Just depends on if you will do any off roading, how much, snow/rain driving, towing, etc. I won't do any real off roading (will do that in my Jeep). Bought them mostly for the look. I plan to do occasional towing, though don't have a trailer yet and have had my truck for almost a year.

Based on the picture attached by the OP :
Long bed truck - longer than the 5.7 space behind the cab
The truck is limited due to the chrome strip on the bottom of the doors unless someone installed the parts to give that appearance.

Thanks for taking the time to explain everything to me. I wish I could have got the ram cargo management system but the longer bed (6.4) was more important for hauling my motorcycles. The width also works in my favor. As far as the decals are concerned, you might see an American flag on the back tailgate but that was just something I found in the glove compartment and wedged it in between the panel seams. Gone now!

A sure fire way to get a 6.4 bed is get a quad cab. Unfortunately they no longer make quad cab Laramie (as of 2021) and never(?) made a Limited
