What did you do to your Ram today???

I haven’t yet no, was looking into that as well. Does it come with new link ends as well or use factory ones? What benefits does it do?
one thing to keep in mind with the hellwig is that it's purpose is to increase stability through corners, but if you live in an area with rough roads and lots of pot holes it can make straightline driving more stiff/less comfortable. I'm torn because I want to reduce body roll but I also don't want to make the potholes feel any more harsh!

I replaced my Goodyear Eagle tires at 29k miles only because I hit a pothole and got a bubble on the front passenger side. I was planning on running them for another year before it happened. Replaced them with Michelin Defender LTX MS2.
That’s what I run. Fantastic tire!

That does make sense. Michigan roads are definitely pretty crappy lol. I will have to see how it handles with the air bags in the rear now, I'm wondering if I will get more body roll out of it now vs the coil springs.

The 7709 on the middle setting would help w/o making the ride rough. I have the 1in bar (stiffer than the 7709) and even with that is not bad at all..well worth the cost. At the price of the 7709 its absolutely worth it.

Where did you buy the 1" bar? What's the part number?

I got it from amazon, they were the least expensive. Part number 7793. I had the 7709 (7/8 in) for a while...ended up getting new rear end links and when Installed them I accidentally put it on the farthest out hole (oem stiffness) and was bothered thinking that it wasn't helping after I put on my bilsteins. Ordered this 1in bar and when I went to install realized my own error...but since I had the 1in bar in my hands I put it on anyway. Trying it out for a bit before posting my 7709 bar for sale. So far the lowest setting of the 1in bar (which is stiffer than the stiffest setting of the 7/8in bar) is fantastic, but it certainly makes it a little more noticeable over bumps. IMO it drives like a truck should and I am happy with it, I just want tow with it to be sure. Overall my opinion is that the 7709 bar in the middle or stiffest setting is plenty for the 1500s.

Thanks for the explanation. For my use case, I think the 7709 should be good enough for me. And it's $70ish price difference.

Sooooo, the other day I posted my new Vice Designs Slimline Reverse Light kit..with pics of how they will fit with the Multi-Function Tailgate Step.

I mentioned I had a conundrum of whether I would actually keep the MF TG Step, since I had purchased Vice Designs Left/Rear Towhook Mount kit..and I have the matching Red Towhook from when I mounted the Right/Rear TH last year.

Well Today I went ahead and removed the MF TG Step, mounted the Left/Rear TH, and removed/reinstalled the Right/Rear TH & Mount..to get both THs as close to perfectly spaced side-to-side and parallel with each other. NO small feat when your using cheap Chinese THs..but I wanted red (matches my front ones).

I like the appearance better with the matching THs..plus you can see under the rearend (that MF TG Step hung low)..because next comes a couple other treats for the Ram..one for the rear, one for the front (see pics of boxes for clues)!

Nice I've been tempted to try RC lights due to the cost and the DRL option. I have the 32" lasfit single row (combo spot/flood) and wish it put more light out. if you could post some pics after install of the light output and your thoughts on it I would appreciate it. what size light bar did u get?

It aids in minimizing body roll. It makes the truck more planted in the corners. The factory one is not as stiff and is a bit flexible. You will need shorter links to keep the sway bar parallel to the ground or it will sit at an angle minimizing its effectiveness. I ordered a shorter set from Hellwig. When you install it, pay attention to the factory one and how it is installed so you don’t install the new one upside down. Then adjust your new links to keep the bar straight (parallel to the ground).
Thanks for the info! Some how I missed this post! I’ll be looking into them for sure!

That's a 30" Curved DRL(single row) & LED(dual row)..27,000 lumens/300 watts.

I'm ditching the harness that comes with it..wiring the DRLs to come on with ignition/lights(red wire) and the LEDs will be on a dash switch(blue wire).

It may be a week or two yet for the lightbar (I'm anxious to get the rear Mopar part installed🔊)..but I'll definitely post when done.

Ordered new LED trailer lights since the new truck apparently can't power the incandescent bulbs.
