Hello Fellas!

Thinking of doing some MODs with a 6in lift, 35s , AT tyres, after market exhaust.

What are your thoughts / experience with this, does it change the whole behavior of RAM ?
Does it give trouble or does it make things more sweeter than it is in stock.

Any suggestions / advice / sharing / caring everything is appreciated!

Thanks,
Sam

This is just me…and my opinion…
For me, the Limited is a luxury family truck.
Typically has more tech, air ride, etc.

It’s not the truck I’d choose to lift. Again, me, my opinion. Your truck, your money…

I believe when you lift it, thinks like forward collision warning won’t work, things like that..
My guess… at 6 inch you’ll have to alter the air ride and steering linkage/geometry.

I know it’ll look bad ***… for sure. For me, it’s not the platform I’d start with.
Don’t mean to sound like Debbie Downer… sorry. And I commend you on your info quest!

I wouldn’t want to do any lift that requires cutting of the frame which IIRC don’t most 6” lift on our platform require. Then it being a limited… nope nope which tells me this is more for looks versus actually functionality since you bought that level of trim. I would stick with a small level/ or even a 2-4” lift thats not going to sacrifice ride quality.

no lift over 3"! bds and readylift both have good products to get them a bit higher and retain decent ride quality. i will tell you there is no products/companies out there that improves ride comfort but once you start messing with height on air ride you will lose quality of ride.

wheels and tires are subjective/biased and up to you to find what you'll like. ( i have 35 kenda klevers and love them)

exhaust i would do borla or carven

I have a rough country 6” on my 2022 limited and run 35” tires. It rides just as good as it did factory but there are some extras I would recommend with the lift. Helwig rear sway bar is a must and I wouldn’t lift without it. I would also highly recommend new upper control arms. I burned through two sets of factory ones in 60k miles before switching to the jba upper control arms, wish I would have done that sooner. I also did a custom double carden front drive shaft as the factory shaft with cv failed in about 20k. With all of that I don’t regret it one bit and love the look. Done right the ride is just the same as factory.
