Exhaust Options for Hurricane 3.0 SST

Exactly! It's a inline 6 not a V8.
And I too was hoping to get it to sound like a 2JZ or the inline 6 turbo BMW. However, I don't think we will be able to achieve quite the sweet sound when we can only turn 5400-5500 rpm.

Has anyone seen a kit for the H.O. motor yet? Honestly not sure what would make the difference on the Magnaflow or MBRP kits with S.O. vs H.O.
Did you ever find a kit for the H.O.?

AFE just released their exhaust for the RHO, im not sure if that fits the other HO trims like my limited yet I was gonna call monday and ask. Borla is testing theirs as is AWE so im guessing those will be out in the next month or two if you can wait like me... also Corsa is releasing theirs in next couple weeks and from what I heard so far sounds pretty good actually... I think we are all smart enough to know it won't sound like the V8s but that doesn't mean it won't still sound "good"... I dont get why so many people are so negative on here 6 cylinders can sound pretty good supras... GTRs... new M3 I know different engines but still sound good.. so sick of these cranky old guys mentality its not the HEMI or its not a v8.. sound like my 3 year old whining lol. tell me they dont like change without telling me you dont like change lol. I digress, anyways some new I think exciting kits coming out soon!

We will have options available at B2 Fabrication this spring. This engine is requiring extensive testing and experimentation to get it to sound decent, We have bolt on 5" tips available now, resonator delete kits soon, and mufflers by late spring.

I bought the Magnaflow 2025 RAM 1500 I6 3.0L D-FIT PERFORMANCE EXHAUST MUFFLER REPLACEMENT KIT WITH MUFFLER- #19686.
Although the startup and in cab sound is pretty good compared to the stock system, I cannot recommend it at this time.

I had a major Issue with fitment, one which Magnaflow seems to be blaming me for/as of now seem unwilling to help.

Long story short- my truck, and the truck that they did their R&D on are not the same, in regards to the passenger side tip/resonator assembly. The passenger side assemble simply won't clamp down properly. I had to cut my old exhaust and shim it...this is not ideal.

I sent measurements, video and pics over to Magnaflow...nothing so far.

I will be replacing this with the Stainless Works system soon.

Pics- factory cuts (unable to clamp down as needed), gap after tightening, my shim work

Just installed the new Corsa exhaust. Still need to adjust the tips but easy install and incredibly happy with the results. I was hoping it would sound like my tuned BMW and it does not disappoint.
