2022 Ram A/C Recirculation Noise

Hello! First post here, as I am a new Ram owner. I know this question has been asked a million times, but I have yet to find a clear answer. Whenever I'm going 40+ mph and have the ac recirculation feature turned on, there is a loud sound coming from the passenger side under the dashboard. It sounds as if I had rolled the window down and outside air is rushing in. The truck is not covered by the factory warranty anymore. If anyone could lead me in the right direction that would be great.

So do you mean that with the AC vent in "Outside Air Mode" the sound goes away?
You might check the condition of the cabin filter and it's cover. As they are located directly behind the fold down glove box.
Perhaps they were not reinstalled correctly?

Yes, when the AC is in outside air mode, the loud noise under the dash stops. It has a brand new cabin filter, I just checked.

The noise is constant. I’ve heard of others having this issue intermittently, but mine is contestant.

I think that's normal. When I switch to recirculate, it gets louder. It also seems to blow harder out the vents.

Fairly common issue with 5th gen rams. Sometimes if you toggle the recirc on and off a couple of times, it will go away. I have read multiple threads about this and it seems there is no definitive answer. Mine sounds like an electronic buzzing noise. Very annoying at highway speeds.
