Im having this issue as well. Long story short, but I bought a 2022 Ram Rebel with e torque in November 2021. I was having the stalling out issue and almost went through the full lemon law process before the dealership just swapped me vehicles.
From that point forward I have had minimal issues...
lol yeah i can see how it would be interpreted that way now. I owed about 22k on my tacoma.
Last year I was looking to trade it in and I would’ve been upside down on the loan, my trade in value this year was a little over 10k what I owed. So bug turn around for me.
however you slice it, I’m...
Okay, gotcha that makes sense. Before I knew about the whole level 2 and level b thing I thought it was strange the cheaper truck had them and this one doesn’t.
The one with level 2 had a 109xxx VIN and the level b has a 104xxx. Pretty similar time frame I assume.
So I’ve got a 22 Rebel. I’m on my second because of issues with the first one.
the first one had the level 2, and this one has the level b and a much higher msrp than the first one did. I had power mirrors on the first one, and on the current one, under level b, it literally say black premium...
Include what options you got..
I think I pretty much got the deal of a lifetime. Originally, brought in 2017 Tacoma Sport with 60k miles, they gave me $33,500 for the trade. MSRP of the rebel was $64k. I got $3500 off the truck when was all said and done.
but what really makes this the deal...
Lot of good info in here.. wanted to add my in progress story to see if I can get any advice.
I traded in and bought a brand new 2022 ram rebel November 1st in Florida. Sticker price 64k. After trade in and 1k cash down my total loan (not through the dealer) was 54k.
Ive had two issues so far...
Had something very similar happen to me. Luckily not on the highway. I took it in and the told me it was because of the etorque battery and it had been sitting on the lot (brand new) and that the issue would resolve itself.
now my Uconnect shut off and won’t come back on while I have a “115v...
Nope just flat ground. Stopped at a stop sign, started moving again and the truck shut down. Tried to get an OBD reading and nothing came up. I’ve got a engine and battery light, taking it to the dealer tomorrow
