What did you do to your Ram today???

Yesterday was a good day. Installed bed step, K&N intake, and OEM front tow hook kit. All easy to do, but man some of those bolts are torqued like WTF. I did remove the air damn to get to the bolts for the tow hooks, made it much easier.

    Biggiehorn's Build Thread

going to take a look at this, appears to be a little less expensive than the slimline. Thanks!

    Biggiehorn's Build Thread

no worries, thanks! that skid plate is on my "maybe" list, that's why I was asking. Thinking I might do slimline reverse lights first though. Backed into my driveway recently during heavy rain at night and couldn't see a single thing, had to open the door and lean out old school.

    should Lasfit bulbs hum?

Update: I shot an email to Lasfit and they said there are fans on the bulbs that might result in the noise. They asked for video. Well, I haven't had a chance to check personal emails and shortly after that response, and before I even read that reply, I got another email saying I had a...

    Ultimate OBD JScan Thread

When I went to 35's from OEM I was off by 4mph, verified on Waze at several different speeds. Updated in JSCAN and now it's spot on. I did manually measure tire rather than go with what it said online, they were different values. I chose to use the value on the front tires. @drpepper68 did...

What did you do to your Ram today???

Indeed, and it looks like the white truck down at the end might have had to park directly next to the gray car so he opted to stay further away. All of these gents know how to properly navigate airport bathrooms and parking lots (same protocol). I always park in the boonies and somehow I'm...

    vendors for oem parts?

I suspected as much, they all have the same site templates and UI as well. Funny you mention shipping, man the estimates were always WAY off. Estimating $45 to ship to my zip, then I move to checkout and it's like $9.

    vendors for oem parts?

good news is allmoparparts replied and service was great, they're sending out a new hook with a return label so I can send back the other. :) Placed an order with moparpartsoverstock for the door handles, we'll see.

    vendors for oem parts?

I wasn't sure where to post this. I did a little searching but didn't find much (I admit I'm not great at navigating forums). I had a couple weird issues recently with ordering parts, wondering if there are some trusted go-to's among the forum members? my recent live and learn: Ordered front...

    E torque alternator.

smart, when shopping last year I wasn't as informed as I should have been about this issue.

    E torque alternator.

man, this thread is hard to read. Really has me a little scared for my 2023, particularly since I don't drive a lot so the mileage is going be low when warranty comes up. Thinking I might need to look into doing an extended warranty for the first time in my life. Best of luck to everyone that...

    Biggiehorn's Build Thread

You ain't kidding. I've already spent more modding my truck than I have any other car I think. Granted, much of that is tires and a lift which I think these things really need to look their best (not unlike Jeeps). But it's not cheap. My 2023 Big Horn came pretty stripped down, so bed...

    should Lasfit bulbs hum?

yeah think i caught that thread, and a few others here and on other forums. no mention of buzzing that I can find. I know LEDs in general, like home bulbs, may do it especially on dimmers but this caught me off guard. Wondering if I should keep them or step up to some morimoto assemblies.
