I had been wanting a truck for years and just couldn't justify keeping the 4Runner. My wife also didn't like the harsh ride of the 4Runner so I got the green light to trade it on the Ram and keep our MDX as my daily driver.
Congrats on your new Ram. I'm a first time truck owner as well. I traded my '18 4Runner (which I loved) on a '19 Bighorn this summer and have no regrets. It's an awesome truck!
Congrats. The 5'7" bed with crew cab works great for me. It fits in my garage and I have a Thule TracRac and 12' utility trailer to haul the big stuff...
Update: left everything opened up in front of a strong fan and replaced the battery.....seemed to do the trick. The truck now unlocks and locks remotely from a good 100+ feet. I'm going to leave it open in front of the fan overnight to ensure it's completely dried out but it appears to be OK...
Thanks for the suggestions. Just went and purchased a new battery in case the original one drained.
It wouldn't be so bad if I wasn't 170 miles from home with no other vehicle and no easy way of getting anywhere (besides a grocery store).
