I think. On my last two vehicles, I cut a pice of plywood that would sandwich between the tire and frame. That took care of it.....I. need to look at my Ram now as I don't recall if I've done it on this one yet.

Yeah, Ram has really clouded the waters with towing in the 2020, 1500's, IMO.
