You are definitely confused. The center stack has the LKAS button and that's all. The steering wheel switch has the button for ACC. The only thing the center stack button does is turn on/off LKAS. No one can, and I doubt a dealer can. But the good news is, your don't need it. Just get one and install it. That's what is being said.

It uses both. The radar is used primarily for distance. The camera is for LKAS.

Sounds like a bad button on the door handle. Guess you could try switching the handles around or replacing it. Another option is cleaning around the button with a q-tip and alcohol. It could just be sticking. I've had this happen on game controllers. [emoji16]

Right, that's not how it works. If you did have the AI driving assist and not just LKAS, it would work as you describe. But on LKAS, it never turns green.

He's wrong. You won't lose auto high beams. Your auto high beams run off the DASM camera. There is an option that has a camera mounted on the mirror and that one is only used for auto high beams.
