Perhaps RAM Care can respond to this. Towing in heat and losing power is a serious safety issue. Perhaps a weak sensor or a limit set too low?

If you look at my first post on this issue, now I always shut it down carefully and listen for any beep when exiting. Sine I have instituted this new shutdown procedure, no issues whatsoever.

My 202 Limited is flawless and smart. If you have a trailer hitched up, set the jack, unhitch it THEN pull the waring harness. Within about 30 seconds the rear suspension will lower, just drive forward as the ball has dropped about 2-3".

On Limited's when you shut off the ignition IF you hear a beeping sound, the slow software FAILED to put the truck systems to sleep and the battery will go dead. Re start the truck briefly and stop again with foot on the brake for 5 seconds. This will do the trick.

I had somewhat of a simular issue, for some crazy reason they will spend hours on RAM warranty money on electrical and refuse to replace a stupid $100 battery. I just do not get it when it is common sense it IS the battery.
