I read a lot of people trying to do this before in f150 and toyota forums, always came back to having to take the entire strut out.

I can snap mine on pretty easily by hand. Takes a little force but nothing i thought I needed to get pliers for.

Agreed on searching the forum for info. I am installing mine tomorrow and without the tips from people on this forum i would probably run into some issues. The instructions provided by daystar and revel aren't anything to brag about.

With truck prices today just sell yours a buy one with it. Way less headache and much easier, probably cheaper in the end

I think the instructions say to set the links at 2.5" with the spacer, do you remember that to be accurate or did you start there and adjust after that?

What is to keep you from just adjusting the front to match the rear instead of adjusting the rear too? Or are you saying you did that initially and the ride was too harsh so you adjusted them both down a little?

So on the revel website it says you may have to RAISE the rear to match the front when using the spacers and links...thoughts?

I guess i'm wondering why adjust the rear as opposed to just adjusting the front and lowering it back down a little if it sits too high?

What would be the advantage of raising the rear a smidge to level it out vs not raising the front as much? I never understood that, as i thought you adjusted the front until it was level to the rear

So I purchased some revel links and daystar spacer from a member here. For now I just have the links on but going to install the spacer in a couple weeks. I'm looking to put 35s on it then too (295/55/22 Ridge Grapplers). I like the height of it in the off road settings, but obviously those are...

Did anybody ever put the 295/55/22s on their truck? I am looking at that size as well.

Yeah i went with setting 5 from reading previous posts and was about 1/2 higher in the front, waited about 2 months and went to the shop to put it on the 4th notch and took another measurement before i did and it was dead even so I didn't change it. I wouldn't mind a slight rake on setting 4 though
