Agreed on searching the forum for info. I am installing mine tomorrow and without the tips from people on this forum i would probably run into some issues. The instructions provided by daystar and revel aren't anything to brag about.
I think the instructions say to set the links at 2.5" with the spacer, do you remember that to be accurate or did you start there and adjust after that?
What is to keep you from just adjusting the front to match the rear instead of adjusting the rear too? Or are you saying you did that initially and the ride was too harsh so you adjusted them both down a little?
What would be the advantage of raising the rear a smidge to level it out vs not raising the front as much? I never understood that, as i thought you adjusted the front until it was level to the rear
So I purchased some revel links and daystar spacer from a member here. For now I just have the links on but going to install the spacer in a couple weeks. I'm looking to put 35s on it then too (295/55/22 Ridge Grapplers). I like the height of it in the off road settings, but obviously those are...
Yeah i went with setting 5 from reading previous posts and was about 1/2 higher in the front, waited about 2 months and went to the shop to put it on the 4th notch and took another measurement before i did and it was dead even so I didn't change it. I wouldn't mind a slight rake on setting 4 though
No i haven't taken a good side shot yet...it looks pretty level, maybe a hair high in the front. I wish i had gone setting #4 and i will be changing it soon, just have to find the time.
Which setting did you go with on the bilsteins? I have the same setup and went with setting #5 but I think I am going to drop it down to #4 because front sits just a touch high.
Can you elaborate on the bend it back method? So you didn't cut that tab at all, just bent it vertically? Did you have to drill any holes, use zip ties, use a heat gun to mold the plastic, etc.? I have 285/65/20 (34.8 x 11.5) and they rub like crazy on stock wheels with a 1" spacer, would be way...
Put on the readylift 3.5” kit, went to dealer to get alignment. Kind of confused about the caster numbers. Attached are the pics of the readylift recommended specs and what the dealer gave me. They told me as long as the middle caster number (0.4) was in the green then I wouldn’t have any excess...
