I've tried it six ways to Sunday. But, I will go out of my way to try again. I will make sure it's activated in UConnect, lock the truck, walk out of FOB range for some time (like the store), and return. I'll even make sure it's nighttime just in case that's also required for the lights (I...
Late returning to the party, but my PWU doesn't work with the truck locked or unlocked. @StuartsFriend . . . the Uconnect option looks like what was posted in post #2375.
A couple things to note based on the last two pages of posts:
1) Rain sensitive wipers. Seems I'm not the only one who thinks they are not great. One theory I have: I have used various cleaning liquids on the windshield in the 4 months I've owned it, e.g. waterless wash and "quick wax." I...
Well, my crash avoidance warning activated for the first time yesterday after 3 months and 3500 miles. I guess it does "work." Perhaps they are just not set as sensitive as other platforms; I certainly cannot purposely get it to fire off. Yes, I'm set in Uconnect on "far."
I don't think the "credit card" was meant to be anything but an emergency means to get the truck going. I keep mine in the plastic and in my wallet for such "emergencies."
Now the digital key by phone was meant to allow you to completely forgo the FOB. The truck has been out 16 months, and...
On my wife's Yukon, I can make the crash avoidance come on at will. Haven't figured out how to do it with the Ram.
The adaptive cruise works great though, so I know the radar is functioning.
My proximity is the same way.
The problem with the collision warning is it's a tough issue to address. Even with the Lemon Law truck, there was no good way to diagnose . . . I couldn't ask some scrub at the dealer to drive it around town almost rear-ending people
I’ve had two 2025s. The first one, a Big Horn, was bought back via Lemon Law. It had a ton of electrical bugs, and the collision warning never activated in traffic, even when set to “near” on the Uconnect screen. I assumed it was part of the electrical gremlins.
But, the new (and current)...
As I back up my enclosed trailer and look at my 2025 DRVM . . . and I note the button to view a trailer camera on said DRVM . . . but I remember it takes a specific camera because the mirror is proprietary . . . and then I realize that the truck has been out for 15 months but no such camera is...
Honest question . . . do we have indications this powerplant pushes oil out both sides?
I come from the boosted mustang world. People would sometimes put cans on both sides, but absent some crazy internal mods or something mechanically wrong, one of the cans would always remain empty -- even...
Worth noting . . . I have had two 2025 SOs. The first one had a ton of problems, and is being bought back after I filed a Lemon Lawsuit. Almost all problems were electrical.
The second one had a leaking water pump right off the bat, but but has been great ever since (fingers crossed).
The “wait for the 2026s” argument is a but over-simplistic, IMO. There’s no magic that occurs in year changes from a reliability standpoint.
Instead, as time passes, more updates, recalls, and TSB changes are applied to trucks leaving the factory. So, a 2025 built in March 2025 will, in...
