I've seen 1001 exhausts have small "leaks" where it's apparent condensation was sneaking through, but it never produced a louder exhaust tone. Perhaps your instance is different, but I have my doubts that is sometimes making your truck louder.
Dude, back it down. He did what the $80k-$100k, engineer-designed truck said to do. And he clearly started the conversation with the fact he had an early oil change, presumably to clear out break-in oil.
Truth told, underfilled by 2+ quarts is way worse than overfilled by two. His response...
It's a shame I had to, but I ended up buying the below to get me the visibility I need until the Ram trailer camera compatible with the DRVM is released (if ever).
It's actually a lot of tech for the money, and it works well. The mount linked below is a good one also. I just don't really care...
You won't hear from them. There are dollar values attached to such things. Instead, they will hold that option in reserve to negotiate with individuals filing Lemon Law complaints, i.e. offer an extended warranty to go away.
I'm still absolutely perplexed how we could be nearly 18 months in to this platform and not have a DRVM camera option when the mirror was clearly designed for it. Every time I look up at my DRVM and see only the front of my enclosed trailer, I want to lash out irrationally.
I've seen a few say they have the issue, but I don't think a ton because not everyone bothers putting the sensors in their trailer tires.
I'm betting the solution is going to be a software update. The problem is forcing it, as who wants to make a dealer trip with their damn trailer attached?
On my 2025, I had the TPS installed in the four tires of my enclosed trailer. I went through the sync process (twice), and all four sync'd up via the U-connect just fine.
However, the truck reads 0 PSI for each tire. I have driven it some 75 miles, and no change.
Is this user error somehow...
Anyone else install the TPS in their trailer tires?
I did and was able to pair them with the truck. However, though the pairing was successful (twice), the Uconnnect screen still shows 0 PSi for the trailer tires after 50 miles of driving.
This is my second 2025, and I thought this one had...
I cut them off. Also, pay attention to whether the retaining clips behind the 6 bolts are preventing you from adjusting the position as much as you’d like.
To circle back . . . I took both FOBs with me and left in the wife's Yukon. Came back, and still nothing from the truck when I approached. The only variable, it was daylight. Confirming it should light up and extend mirrors and running boards, even if light outside?
I had to have my bumper off a couple times for unrelated reasons, and I was able to make this issue much better. Taking the bumper off means removing the fender liners, 6 nuts, and 4 wire harnesses on the 2025. From what I can tell, the pre-2025 has only 2 harnesses.
Once off, you might find...
