Honest question . . . do we have indications this powerplant pushes oil out both sides?
I come from the boosted mustang world. People would sometimes put cans on both sides, but absent some crazy internal mods or something mechanically wrong, one of the cans would always remain empty -- even...
Worth noting . . . I have had two 2025 SOs. The first one had a ton of problems, and is being bought back after I filed a Lemon Lawsuit. Almost all problems were electrical.
The second one had a leaking water pump right off the bat, but but has been great ever since (fingers crossed).
The “wait for the 2026s” argument is a but over-simplistic, IMO. There’s no magic that occurs in year changes from a reliability standpoint.
Instead, as time passes, more updates, recalls, and TSB changes are applied to trucks leaving the factory. So, a 2025 built in March 2025 will, in...
Yea, I’m “new..” Somehow you think that comment makes you more credible. *eye roll*
Funny how you continue to lecture. This time that I should read my own post …. a post you apparently couldn’t read. Perhaps my words had too many syllables? I very clearly qualify when a $500 can is...
You’re deflecting. No one said these forced induction motors won’t benefit from a catch can; as a matter of a fact, I have one on my stock SO.
This issue I have is with your condescending lecture over whether someone had to buy a $500 catch can because they invested in an expensive truck.
Oh lighten up, Francis. J&L makes a fantastic product for $169 that would do the trick for 99% of the 1500 owners out there. So, step off the pedestal.
$500 is, indeed, a lot of money for a catch can. But, I’ll admit it’s worth it for those running the HO, tuned, pushing extra boost, and...
Yes, that coolant is spec'd for the 2025.
But, you should have the dealer find out why. My first 2025 had disappearing coolant. Once, I found a puddle underneath the truck, near the center where the cab meets the bed. I wasn't able to see where it was coming from though.
For those with the rain sensing wipers, how are they for you? Mine start out okay when the rain starts, but eventually end up too fast for the conditions. If I then manually play with the speed via the intermittent wiper settings on the stalk, it’s okay for a bit, but then gets too fast at...
I just updated to the same version. Even uninstalled and reinstalled . . . still not Ventilation button. BUT . . . I also haven't been pushed any of the updates to the truck.
So to be clear …. I get that the 360 trailer surround camera system is not available for the 2025 yet, even if properly wired and equipped.
However, there is not even yet a single camera that can be installed on our trailer, run to the plug, and display via the digital rear view mirror? That...
The pinkish/brown look is normal . . . you also notice that it tends to look more like the original purple when cold and under certain lighting conditions.
For both my two 2025s, they came with the coolant at the MIN line. But, I'm not a great example, as the first one continues to have coolant loss, and the second one was leaking at the water pump (fixed).
I recommend you guys wait until it is dead cold and on level ground, then fill it EXACTLY...
I was going to do a separate thread but will just summarize here ….
Bought a 2025 Big Horn in August. Nothing but trouble, including parking sensor errors, collision warning offline errors, towing disconnect errors, the blue screen of death, dead secondary battery, blown strut, etc. Spent 61...
School me on this …. my 2025 1500 Laramie has a listed towing capacity of 11,550lbs. What does this mean for actual weight of items towed?
Currently, I use it for towing my track car in a Futura trailer. Total weight is about 5200lbs.
However, I’m considering going to an enclosed trailer...
