They were developing a new V8, a smaller displacement twin-turbo V8 reportedly. That project was killed by the now ex-CEO. With Timmy back and the old CEO gone, I bet that project comes back off the shelf. Not sure if it will just be a "halo" engine for a new TRX or if they will use variants of...
There are at least a few grades of aftermarket windshields. If you find the right place, they can get an aftermarket one that is almost identical to the OEM, just minus the OEM logo.
Then there are the cheapo (of varying degrees) windshields that many places will want to sell you. They'll work...
This is another one of those "I should have thought of this before getting myself into a situation, but I'll blame others and join a forum just to complain then never come back" threads. (Referring to the original poster that started the thread, no one else.)
I agree, it should be available for...
They make a lot more money off of the 3rd party ones, so they can all sell the Mopar plans, they just don't like to. And I've never had one "be able" to match the prices we can get from Granger or Zeigler.
He is more about notoriety and infamy than actual good content. He is usually a "punching bag" for all the other Youtubers who do decent content, they make fun of something he says semi-frequently.
I think it depends on the exact truck. All non-TRX 1/2 ton trucks are 9.25" Mopar rear ends. AAM I think made some of the 2500/3500 rear ends? Not as familiar with the 3/4 and 1 ton trucks as I wish I was.
The TRX trucks (and maybe the upcoming RHOs?) have a Dana 60 rear end.
Do not use the UConnect Software Update Center. Back in the UConnect 4 days, it used to actually do something with your VIN and determine whether you needed an update or not. Now-a-days, no matter what, it will always tell you that you are up to date. They no longer want to allow people to...
I am hoping so, in a sideways sort of way... they plan on putting a very similar idea into the Wagoneer 4xe models next year, or so they say. Wife is interested, as she wants something a little better at towing than her Grand Cherokee and loves the electric idea.
2019s and 2020s (and some 2021s if I remember right) had poor A/C performance from the factory very frequently. Turns out, it was due to a badly designed HVAC system in the dash. There was a TSB for it, involved replacing the entire HVAC box in the dash, pretty involved (labor) fix.
Some 2019...
Without knowing the gear ratios involved (as others have already mentioned), its hard to tell. But I bet a Pedal Monster would fix it a bit. Loved Pedal Commanders/Monsters on my 5.7 Hemi trucks before I got the TRX.
Welcome aboard guys. Not sure this was your intent, but this thread has been dormant for almost 4 years, and the original poster (OP) hasn't been on the forum in over a year. Not giving you a hard time, just a FYI.
