You're overpaying big time. I was quoted $1500 and talked the dealer down to $1000 for my 2022. It's getting it done today.

I had a similar experience in a Nissan rental a couple years back. I could take my hands completely off the steering wheel for long periods of time and the car would just drive itself. It wasn't marketed as self driving, but it was damn sure close to it.

There's two of us! Diesel was a no brainer for me. I live at 7k feet so it's either snowing or there's enough UV to fry you in minutes, so the moonroof seemed pretty unnecessary. I have it on my current SUV and I'm not sure I've ever had it open.
